   Stopped in today while it's 29degrees outside, thought it'd be nice to share an icecream with my daughter, she's only 2 so she wouldn't be able to eat a whole one herself, I asked for an extra cup or container for her and was told I'd have to buy another sundae just for a cup! Absolutely ridiculous, i won't be returning to this stingy place !

   I visited the Burger King in Shirley, Christchurch, today and went through the drive-thru. I waited about 15 to 20 seconds and no one said anything, so I thought the ordering machine was broken. Eventually, I went to the cashier, and when I was ready to order, the staff member told me they couldn’t take orders from that cashier. I mentioned that no one had informed me earlier, and he said he was talking to another client. It would’ve taken just a second to let me know saying something like “just a second please” but there was no communication. I ended up leaving without my food and felt that the staff member wasn’t very polite.

   My friend asked if the new chucky frozen drink was gluten free and the lady screamed back “nothing here is gluten free” which was extremely rude as my friend was being polite and was making sure she could drink it without getting extremely ill. The tone of the way she said that was extremely unacceptable in the customer service industry. I hope you teach your workers how to speak to customers. I still ordered the drink to try it and it wasn’t actually good but my friend is still very disappointed at the way she got treated. We went straight to Mcdonald’s where they are inclusive and are very clear about their dietary restrictions on their website unlike burger king which has not been updated. I will not be coming back.

   This BK location really stands out! Every time I visit, the service is fast, friendly, and reliable. The staff are always polite and seem genuinely focused on getting orders right and out quickly, even during busy times. The food is consistently fresh and well-prepared — the fries are hot, the burgers taste great, and everything is packaged neatly. I’ve never had an issue with an incorrect order, which says a lot about how well the team operates. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, including the dining area and restrooms. It’s clear the staff take pride in keeping things in good shape, which makes for a more enjoyable visit overall. It’s definitely one of the better-run Burger King locations I’ve been to, and I’ll continue coming back. Great job to the whole team!

   The Worst Ever Burger King in whole NZ. Pathetic customer Service. This store is total disgrace to whole burger King! I’d like give -5 star for my experience but i don’t have an option for that. Honestly they don’t have any respect to their customers. The lady on drive tru and her shift manager were total disgrace.
