   Honey chicken on rice was disgusting!, only two stars because the Honey was nice, If you going to charge $19, then the chicken shouldn't be chewy, rice was dam near un eatable. Viggie undercooked. Just goes to show, all those 5 star reviews, and that's what you sell me. Makes you wounder. Ill never return!

   Honestly the best Chinese takeaway in Christchurch, had a look at their kitchen, spotless clean. Food, delicious and fresh! Good portion! The owner seems very nice, will definitely come again and again. Really recommend, they deserve it!

   Just had this for dinner and felt compelled to leave a review because this place is now our favourite takeaway place! We ordered one teppan teriyaki pork collar with salad and noodles, one sweet n sour pork with fried rice. First of all quality ingredients used, amazing flavours!!, priced reasonably - $17 for each main that we ordered, very good portions, great service and possibly the cleanest and brightest takeaway place I’ve ever been. Thank you for making our day with these yummy food! :)

   I had the pleasure of dining at Whale Eatery and ordering the teriyaki chicken, prawn chorizo alfredo pasta, and a side of fried chicken. The food was outstanding and definitely exceeded my expectations. The teriyaki chicken was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of seasoning. The prawn chorizo alfredo pasta was delicious and the combination of flavors was a great surprise. The side of fried chicken was crispy and delicious. The service was awesome and definitely added to the overall experience. The chefs at Whale Eatery are very professional, and you can taste the quality and care put into each dish. Additionally, the restaurant was clean and inviting. Overall, the quality of the food, service, and professionalism of the chefs at Whale Eatery was impressive, and I would highly recommend trying these dishes. Whale Eatery is definitely a must-try for anyone looking for a great dining experience."

   Wow! Prawn Star, Beef Courgettes & Pork Belly. Absolutely delicious, highest-quality restaurant ingredients at takeaway prices. The slow-cooked meat came apart beautifully & the homemade sauce was incredible. Immaculate premises & super-friendly owners. Can't wait to return soon, highly recommended. P. S.    We ordered Prawn Star and Whale’s Rice Salad: The sauce on the prawns was delicious! Sweet, tangy and just little spicy, goes perfectly with rice. The rice salad makes me feel like I’m eating a gourmet restaurant dish out of a box. Can’t wait to try the other dishes on the menu!
