Worst kebab ever. Honestly not worth the price of it.I ordered mix meat on salad , hardly any salad other than carrots and red onions argh!
The food’s real good if you’ve got time to wait. We /4 work mate. Used to regularly get lunch from here. Wait time approximately 20 minutes. So we’d ordered online 20-30 minutes before. The guy started waiting until we turned up before making the food. Not the online order always stated pick up ready 10-15 minutes. Sometimes would be 45 minutes for order to pick up.
DON'T DO IT! I ordered through Uber Eats last night and the food arrived cold. The falafel kebab was the worst I’ve ever had. I spent the night vomiting afterwards. I’m never buying from here again and would discourage others from eating here too.
Fresh ingredients and nice flavors with a decent amount of meat but by the time i had peeled off all the layers of tinfoil the portion is smaller than the last time i came in when the new owners had first taken over last year. No Eftpos available on this night, not sure if this was a one off or not? Ended up going into Ferrymead Westpac atm down the road. Chips were nice and light and hot, pretty boring tasting with out flavoring or salt that i could tell. 2.99 to add a sprinkle of cheese doesn't seem worth it, feta as an option would be nice tho. Reading others Google reviews it looks like there is price differences for some items on the website vs in store ... Gst is included in the price here in New Zealand so don't let any one give you that bs excuse.
I have been here before and for $17 (on the board says $16.99) it's below average. Size of the meal as well as the staff chewing gum. I won't be coming back. Rather spend my money elsewhere. The old owner was so lovely and had decent portions sizes. Be warned way better places around !
Tried this place for the first time today. Didn’t actually know it was here in Woolston Village, and glad I found it. The Mixed Souvlaki I decided I felt like for lunch was fabulous. Hot, fresh and super tasty. A great serving size and value for money. I will definitely be back.
Good Food with nice portion & Friendly Staff. Had mix meat Lamb & Chicken
I just tried the 'chicken kebab burger' from here and it was EXCEPTIONAL. Really fresh produce with lots to choose from, including corn and beetroot, delicious chicken and the sauces were great too - I chose garlic yoghurt, tzatziki and sweet chili. It was only $7 so I expected something small but it was still a decent sized - very good value. I don't come to this side of town often but will absolutely be back next time I'm over this way.
Great spot! Lovely staff, great sauces, great prices. I’ll say the chicken has to be my favorite - I always wish there was more left over. Cheers to the chefs!
