Taking the piss is an understatement! European beers are overpriced when buying on their website. Shop around on the net and you can buy from retailers in New Zealand so much cheaper. Have not been to the outlet/bar so will not comment on that, will check it out at some stage
Best beer shop in town. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A must see when you are in Christchurch.
Buyer beware! I recently made a pricey ($100+) purchase from the online store and The Beer Library has yet to fulfil the order. I have reached out a few times now, but have had zero response. Avoid at all costs, unless you enjoy being scammed!
This is a wonderful wee gem of a place. Hidden away, but with a great vibe. Recommend dropping in for a cheeky bevvy with your pals. They even have some board games available if the mood takes you.

Brilliant place to find a great range of beer, spirits and most other things to help you relax and enjoy a good tipple. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are always there to offer advice. Also opening hours are so convenient. Regularly remain open later than ‘normal’ business hours so can actually be possible to go after work!!
Always has what I am looking for and new beers at good prices. Definately worth stopping by online or in store.
