    As context, myself and several other colleagues have been coming here for the last few months sporadically. I cannot speak highly enough to the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth that the regular bartender Josh provides. The venue is both enclosed and private, whilst allowing plenty of light through the courtyard to never feel claustrophobic, the food is of exceptional quality for a very reasonable price and as the perfect top of the triangle, the service is always friendly, helpful and unintrusively observant. If you're looking for a quiet little corner to burn a few hours, have a good bite and try something new from behind the bar, there is nowhere else in christchurch I could reccomend as highly.

    The bar is absolutely stunning, giving it a sophisticated look. The bartenders there are really nice and the service is efficient and friendly. They are knowledgeable and were very helpful when it came to branching out to new drinks. Highly recommend the fried chicken waffles as the chicken is moist on the inside, coming with an amazing sauce. Will absolutely make this place a regular pit stop (r.i.p bank)

    Cool, casual, comfortable atmosphere w/welcoming, warm service and all around wonderful, what a gem! Cascade very much has a Las Vegas speakeasy feel, as in you need to know in order to get it. What a pleasure! Food portions are generous. Drinks are creative and well done. The ambiance is lovely. Service is second to none. Cascade is an excellent place to be!

    Had an excellent stop here for mulled wine which was really nice and a snack. Good sized portions - had chicken waffles, cauliflower popcorn and fish croquettes. Croquettes a bit tasteless. Presentation good. Staff were really welcoming & helpful. Nice buzz going on and would defo revisit. Was a private function going on upstairs they were well staffed for & sounded like all were enjoying. Good venue.

    Went for dinner tonight on first table and had a fabulous experience. Food was so great and love the sharing plates concept. Highly recommend the cauliflower. Cascade had a great atmosphere and lighting was perfect. Food and drinks both well priced, especially for being in town. The only thing I wish is that we didn’t have to go up to ask for a second round of drinks. But after that, the female server was on to it. Both servers were personable, polite and professional. Will definitely be back!!

    I am very disappointed, I was booked and confirmed for a dinner with my friends and It was my birthday celebration. As soon we arrived they said the restaurant had an event booked at 7pm which didn't give us enough time. They offered to seat us outside but it was a cold evening. So we left after having appetizers. It would have been fine if they let me know beforehand and I could have booked somewhere else.
