   The service was good, but I really need to express a serious complaint. My feet were measured as size 6, yet the shop recommended size 7 for me (step-on). At that time, I was still new and didn’t know which size would actually fit me and unsure whether a slightly looser fit might still be okay. But since the measurement clearly showed size 6, but I got 7! full size larger was a big mistake. When I actually used the boots, they turned out to be far too loose. Later, I checked online and found out that the smallest size the shop carried was size 7. I feel the shop should have been honest with me—if the right size wasn’t available, you should have just told me, and I could have gone elsewhere. I even went for a fitting at Burton, and they confirmed that my correct size is 6–6.5 at most. Being given boots a full size larger not only left me with gear that doesn’t fit, but also means I now face extra costs if I need to buy a new pair, plus new bindings as well. Instead of lasting me 2–3 years, this has become a very expensive mistake. I really have to express my disappointment—it feels like I was pushed into buying something unsuitable just so the shop could make a sale.

   The whole team was super helpful. Visited to find some ski pants on a recent city trip and walked out with jackets, top and pants. Very helpful and knowledgeable team. Very friendly but not pushy and a great range of colours and sizes from a range of brands. Will definitely visit again.

   Probably the best customer service I've ever had. The owner and the staff that I talk to all live and breathe the sports they sell, so they know their stuff and most of the gear in house is what they like to ride, wear or use for maintenance, so you know you're in good hands. If you're new to the country, they can also point you in the right direction for waves or powder. They have good connections to their suppliers and really go all the way for their customers. I had trouble with my winter wetsuit and even though it fell out of warranty (by a few weeks), they were ready to help me out. Absolute legends!

   Wonderful service at Snow and Surf today. They have a great range of products, and very reasonable prices. I was shopping for a new pair of snowboard boots and I really appreciated the advice and time given to me by the young female staff member that served me. Being a boarder herself, she could appreciate what I was after and gave me several options that would work. She was patient, kind and a pleasure to spend time with. We'll definitely be back when we next need a new bit of kit!
