   We really enjoyed our breakfast overall. The food was well cooked and satisfying, and the hash browns were a standout — perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Service was pleasant and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it a great place to start the day. We’d happily come back for another breakfast.

   im a diabetic. My sugar while walking around northlands mall dropped dangerously low and i was shaking. I asked my grandaughter to get me a quarter pounder. What i got for my ten bucks was a rip off. I couldnt even find the pickle and the meat was wider than the bun. I got a cheese burger for a quarter pounder price. Im not happy and i cant find an email addy to let maccers know. This is what happens when you hire school kids!! I had no choice to eat it because i was nearly going into a coma.

   Yet another bad experience that highlights ongoing issues with this restaurant's operations. Today, I observed multiple delivery drivers left standing around with no direction or updates. Communication was again lacking across the team. The floor manager was not engaging with staff, and customers waiting inside were visibly frustrated and impatient. I watched how orders were being handled—food was sitting ready, going cold, while no one took responsibility to hand it out. This wasn’t due to a lack of staff; there were plenty of people available, but no accountability or leadership guiding the process. This kind of dysfunction stems directly from poor management. Until leadership takes ownership and implements proper coordination, these issues will continue. I will ensure the public is made aware. The standard of service here is unacceptable.

   Rude staff, has 0 knowledge on their app. Sent away to contact head office because they don't know how to troubleshoot or answer app questions. Unnamed staff without name badges. Machines were out of stock of items which i had redeemed via app. You get 15 minutes to redeem upon redemption these were out of stock and staff couldn't help. I asked do you expect me to drive in 12 minutes to the next McDonald's xyz just was fobbed off rudely. Disappointed to see the lack of connection and knowledge from top down of their media/ platforms. Do better.

   Ordered a Quarter Pounder in the afternoon, not during rush hour so the workers are pretty relaxed but consists of wonderful old ladies. Unsure of what I received. Is it a Quarter Pounder, a Big Mac, or a Quarter Mac? You decide my dearest Review Reader. Update: I bought a Serious Angus Burger and seriously, it doesn't have anything on it! (2nd photo)

   I don't often leave a review for McDonalds but the team at Papanui mall today lunch deserves it: fries were hot and fresh and salted to perfection, and my BBQ Bandit burger looked like the one in the picture. It was perfectly assembled, the cheese slightly melted, the right amount of sauce. Big up guys, I hadn't enjoyed Maccas like this in so long :)

   Has not eaten McDonald's for a long time in my home country, Singapore. So why not try it here when they produce their own beef. Was here for breakfast and really glad that they also serve all-day meals. This means you get to order your normal burgers for breakfast. Unlike in Sinapore, they only have breakfast menu, and you can order the burgers from11 amm onwards. So I ordered Quarter Pounder. Tasted good. The bagel was a bit too dry. Overall a 4 star.

   Have never been that impressed by this McDonald's but it was even worse than usual today. My mum was pretty shocked to wait 15+ minutes for a measly two hash browns. All the staff were working at a snails pace despite the growing crowd of customers waiting. She watched amazed as the first 5 minutes passed and all the food was piling up but no one was packing the orders and it was just sitting there getting cold. Don't expect a hot or quick meal from this one.
