I always look forward to my hair appointments with Kate G. She is a hair wizard and knows what works for my hair. I have been lucky to have the other girls do my hair over the years also. They are all amazing and great at what they do. The salon is lovely and calm with a complimentary drink while you're having your hair done too!
I do think the stylists here are fine, just disappointed with my visit today. My first time there, I went for a fringe trim. The girl on the phone told me it was $10, I ended up paying $20. Didn't say anything while paying but it didn't sit well with me. Fast forward to my most recent visit, I booked the appointment on the phone for a wash, cut & dry and I told the stylist what happened with the fringe trim so I wanted a set price for a cut. She said "it's normally $95 but I don't mind doing you a deal if you just want a quick wash, cut & dry, no intensive styling for $80/$85. I'll just ring you a few days before the appointment to confirm". I thought; great. 4 days before the appointment, no call so I reached out. I spoke to another girl, asking to confirm the price and she said she didn't know anything about it so she'd have the stylist call me. I didn't hear from her. So today, I get there and my stylist says "what are we doing today?" And I said "the wash, cut, dry...". She said "well we can't do all that because I cut you a deal" so I said "sure, I get it, just whatever you can do then". So I ended up getting a dry cut which was only a half hour appointment for $75- the regular price. It's very frustrating when you book in at this expensive salon, and leave with unclean, unstyled hair, leaving looking the same. It really defeats the purpose of treating yourself to getting your hair done. It's also the second time I have tried to be clear in advance about pricing so I can budget accordingly, but they have been very inconsistent with me. I didn't ask for the deal, I was offered it, then they didn't honor it. Bad business in my opinion.
Highly recommend Kendal! She was very professional and I appreciated her technical input. Overall had a great experience and obvs rebooking. 5* hands down

This is a beautiful salon. I've been looking for somewhere I can trust and actually enjoy going to since the earthquakes and Co Lab Hair is definitely my favourite. Awesome products too.
