It was one of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. The fish was perfectly cooked, not too oily and perfect balance of salt. Even after a few minutes, it didn’t go soggy. The best part is, they give some wedges of lemon. Definitely worth a visit. Love it!!!!
First time getting fish & chips here. The batter is light and fish nice. Chips were very good too. They are a higher price but worth it. This will be our go to place now.
One of the best fish and chips we ever had in Canterbury region. Tried the normal fish and chips and it was amazing. Tasty, crispy and delicious. We even got a slice of lemon to add some flavour. There is ample car parking space outside the shop. Will be back soon to try out other options in the menu.
First time going here, Arrived 30 minutes before closing, No problem with ordering. Ordered Classic Cheese and Half Dozen Squid RIngs. I must say best squid rings I've had from a takeaway place even came with lemon! big rings not the typical ones! Burger is as described can't complain Will be back to try more!
Easily the best fish and chips I’ve ever had (including expensive “gourmet” options). Squid rings were actual squid and the fish was great quality. Busy Friday night and the kitchen was humming - impressive speed given the quality and volume of orders. The slice of lemon was a really nice touch. Will definitely be back!
I will agree with the majority and say this place is really good. Chips were crunchy and not super oily. Classic chicken burger was really good. The squid in the seafood platter was phenomenal and just melts in your mouth. Place was very clean and didn't smell of oil but it was also quiet at the time. Would recommend
Best looking fish n chips from a takeaway store I’ve seen so far. Chips are good and fish are fresh and crunchy. I had once the staff put too much salt on the food. Anyway, over all definitely worth to try. Recommended
Traveled especially to try this after reading great reviews. Wasn't disappointed! This was 1 piece, yes just ONE, Of the standard fish crumbed, a Hot Dog which was enormous and a half scoop of awesomely seasoned chips cooked just right. Worth a trip and worth the slightly higher cost as it's just done better
