I went to some of the free indoor acroyoga meetings while in Christchurch. Lots of skilled and fun acro people to play with and they have great venues
University of Canterbury's Yoga Society, aka YogaSoc, is a lovely group of uni students and Christchurch City community members who meet up weekly during the uni term to practise yoga and acro yoga together. YogaSoc offers a great opportunity to spend time with yoga/acro-enthusiastic people from diverse backgrounds; events and classes offer something for seasoned yogis/acroyogis and people new to the practices alike!
I enjoy acro. The people are fun and i feel safe and included.
Good place for yoga and acro yoga classes and jam. Every wednesday. The classes are free and you can give a koha to become a member. People are friendly. No need to come with a partner and all levels are welcome. =)
