   Could not believe it, waiting in line to get served, then to be told "I'm not surviving you" as you can imagine I was taken back and asked her to repeat herself, so she did " I'm not surviving you" I informed her I am in the right place in the que, meanwhile she is looking over my shoulder at the next customer. After a few questions she informed me that another staff member was attending to me. I informed no one has served me, now you are saying your not going to serve me. I informed the manager who did not seem at all that interested. I normally would of walked off, however my disabled son was told that we were getting coffee, so that would have thrown him. What a way to great a customer. I can't believe this, we would of lost our jobs over this in my day. Agree with the other reviewe discusting service.

   Older gentleman just stood there on his phone for a good 45 seconds as I stood there waiting. He wasn't tucked around the back or anything and didn't seem fazed at all that he was making me wait. Because I love MBs white chocolate mocha's, I chose to disregard his lack of customer service. Sat down and started drinking my coffee, which was average to say the least. As I got to the bottom I realized it was because he hadn't stirred the white chocolate powder properly. I took my mug up and thanked him but told him it wasn't mixed properly. He just looked in the mug and shrugged it off. I smiled and walked away knowing I'd not go back until their service changed. The time before him I was served by a girl that looked like she was on the brink of tears the whole time. She didn't crack a smile once and looked so uninterested in working there. It's such a shame because all other Ōtautahi MBs are awesome....

   Asked for 2 Large Vanilla Lattes n 1 shot of Coffee only in Each,Guy said '' You mean 2 Lattes with a Shot of Vanilla, When i repeated what i asked for he Turned to me n Said ''You aint listening to me n repeated what he thought i was after which i thought was Rude, Thinking he knew what he was talking about i let him place my order, When ready we found a table n started to Drink what we both thoufgt was a Vanilla Latte with 1 sot of Coffee, It was the worst i have tasted, No Vanilla, overheated it was Disgusting along with his Uppity attitude,Never ever going bk there again, We are both Regulars at Northlands Muffin Break n they have no trouble at all Making our Order of Large Vanilla Latte n 1 Shot, n all the Staff are always friendly n well spoken,Sorry same cant be said of that Guy at Palms Muffin Break.

   Best hot chocolate on a rainy day . Tried their spinach and cream muffin today heated with butter, it was nice. Also, for a voucher for a coffee for $2 next time. Good deal

   I have bought coffees from Muffin Break for years. Today I was very disappointed to find my ‘free’ coffee was not free!! I was charged 90cents for the soy milk? Is this new?? If it is, I think it might be false advertising.

   Just seems like a tired dated outfit now. Soy milk is the only plant based milk option and back in the day MB never used to charge you extra for that. Cost me nearly $10 for a large caramel latte w soy milk and to be honest for that price I would expect a great coffee but it was decidedly average.
