   If I could rate this place a ZERO. I would! Do NOT order from this place! Placed an order online and I still have not received it, it’s been a week and I’m in New Zealand, even PAID for shipping. Have reached out to them TWICE and still NOTHING. Freaking money schemers. I know to stick with my local Asian stores from now on. Highly disappointed in these guys services. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK BEFORE YOU’RE REPORTED TO LAW ENFORCEMENT.

   Title: Completely Incompetent – Avoid This Store I called the number listed online—no answer. Turns out, it’s not even connected to the store. I drove all the way across town to check stock, only to find nothing available, despite the website claiming otherwise. The Asian guy who owns the place didn’t care at all when I raised the issue. I do care—and here’s a review for the public, mate. It’s embarrassing that a business can get the basics so wrong: misleading online stock, unresponsive phone lines, and zero customer care. Total waste of time. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ignored and frustrated.

   Ken’s Mart in Sydenham is a great place for Asian groceries! They have a huge range of products — from Korean snacks to noodles, sauces, and teas. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the shop is clean and well-organized. Prices are reasonable for the quality and variety you get. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Asian ingredients in Christchurch

   Writing this review on behalf of my elderly mom who placed an online order for noodles on July 5th and heard nothing from Kensmart for weeks. On July 17th, I emailed them asking for an update — and as of today (July 22nd) I still haven’t received any response at all. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend money on a product, then be completely ignored when following up. At this point I have no idea if our order will ever arrive, and the lack of communication is pretty appalling. I can’t recommend ordering from here if this is how they treat their customers. I hope someone from the business sees this and decides to actually address the issue.

   This is the go to place for pretty much anything you need, noodles, frozen meats, dumplings, sauces, condiments, spices and tinned goods. Some hard to get items plus sake, beer and shoju. Great selection of all of the items and not to mention super service. They are such a nice bunch of people. Absolutely recommended. Dumplings tonight!
