Yum yum yum best souvlaki ever I'm glad you kept the original recipe from the lovely persian couple that owned it for years.
90% Lettuce in my open souvlaki. for $19 this was an absolute rip off. Better off going to TANK and getting a $16 chicken salad where you get much more protein and better value. Most likely won't return here.
One of the very best Souvlaki in Christchurch. The French fries are beautifully cooked hot and yummy everytime. So full l, some reviewers need to buy a bigger one.
Had the open souvlaki. The portion size was very small for $18 and I was still hungry afterwards. Sauces were nice.
The chips we got were very nicely cooked and good amount of salt , the souvolaki was nice enough for the price .
The friendly staff prepare excellent food. I haven't tried all the menu yet but i have tried all the souvlaki. The meat is great quality and the salads are very fresh. The felafel is delicious. The large size is a monster feed and extremely good value for money. The shop is very clean. Parking is great. I go there every week... its a popular place. They wrap the souvlaki mych better than other restaurants.... tin foil and extra bags keep the souvlaki tidy and mess free.
Thoroughly disappointed in the souvlaki I have bought tonight. Barely any meat in my large souvi, no hummus at all, chicken tasted like it’s marinaded in curry or something. I don’t recommend this place at all unless you’re after a stale pita filled with lettuce and a couple of pieces of meat. Will stick with travelling the 20 min to my go to souvi shop which is souvlakilicious on Crandord St, perfect every time there!
Had fond memories of this place back when it was the old owners, But sadly it isn’t the same high quality. Stopped in for a quick souvlaki for lunch. Very average with minimal toppings and about 90% lettuce with a couple slices of tomato for good measure, and I could of counted the bits of lamb on one hand. It was honestly pretty bad. Next time I’ll keep driving
