Half our order was missing. When we phoned up we were refused a refund for the missing items and told they would give the missing items to us next time we order. Absolutely appalling.
Ordered a gurnard chips and a chicken burger. Received half cooked hoki and the chicken burger was well over cooked. Chicken patty was almost half the size of the buns. Chips were good. Can’t believe people think this is quality fish n chips in Christchurch
Definitely in my top 3 for a freshly cooked fish bites and thick crunchy chips, fully recommend & yes I do go out of my way to drive here for my takeaway meal I no longer ever go to my Local takeaway bar I much prefer here, staff are kind and meal is enjoyable?
I just really enjoy one piece of fish on nights I can't be bothered cooking. Always cooked to perfection. Great chatting to others while waiting. Nice and clean.
Chips are always perfectly fried, oil is clean. My only gripe is that the fish is small and thin. For the same price, you can get more substantial fish elsewhere, however I don’t see chips as nice elsewhere so I’m still going to patron this shop One scoop of chips is $4.30 as at September 2024
Reliable and consistent chippy shop. Burgers are all better than most take away shops
Gone are the days when Russley Fish Supply had the thickest fish that were perfectly cooked and the pick of ChCh West. Now they’re small in comparison to most F&C shops. The meat patty should be renamed a potato patty. A real shame the family couldn’t continue the quality. Better to head to Church corner options.
Good, fast service. The scoop of chips seemed a bit light. Food was good, chips crunchy and not oily, fish was cooked well.
Great chips Stop in here today first time. Git fish and chips fish was nice and God size. Chips they were great. You should give them a go.
Food quality was good but portion sizes are so stingy. A scoop of chips would be a half scoop or less at some other shops I've reviewed and the fish was tiny. I'd value it at half what I paid.
