My favorite takeaway is Chicken Satay! And I can say hands down that its the best Satay Flavoured anything I have ever tasted. 100% will be coming back. The scoop of chips was second to none both in price and quality/quantity. My family's new favorite.
Constantly great fish and chips. Their chips are the best!!! Packs are really good value. You can definitely tell they keep their oil clean. Always fast and friendly service.
I don't know if it was an off day for them but their food was terrible! We ordered fish and chips pack and added extra chips which was $5 and a steak & egg toastie. The fish was so oily so we took the fish meat out and were able to eat it with some tomato sauce and threw the batter out, the chips did not look like it was worth the extra $5 and because the fish was on top it was so oily as well, so oily my kids didn't eat much. The most disappointing item was the steak & egg toastie. It had only a few overcooked / burnt steak pieces and the egg was so dry. Definitely won't recommend, however I hope their other food options are better!
Prices are great, serving size is great too but the food is just awful. Our chips, fish, fritters and sausages were so greasy we were unable to eat out meal. Everyone is feeling queasy and off after taking a few bites. There is oil pooling in our tray and dropping off the food.
My favourite fish n chip shop when I visit Hamilton, the batter on the snapper was super yummy crispy & crunchy, have even got my daughter stopping in there for a feed too now. Top job guys!
Very dissatisfied with the sweet sour pork and fried rice. The so called pork was just battered sinew, chewy and inedible and tastless . The fried rice was also below what I consider exceptable. Had I lived near by I would have returned this poor effort to the Hillcrest kitchen!

I was really hoping the positive reviews were accurate as it's seems suprisingly difficult to find good fish and chips in Fish&Chip shops. Unfortunately it was no different here. Chips tasted like old oil and a third of them were either burnt or all dried up. The fish itself was fresh but it was barely crumbed and the crumb barely cooked. It was a quick and cheap feed but I'd rather pay double and get a nice meal that doesn't make me feel yuck after.
