   An absolutely brilliant experience, so laid back. It was Easter Saturday when I went. Very quiet. A lot of love has gone into the place particularly outside. Has potential to make it more of a cafe atmosphere inside, too, with cafe at the front and pub at the back. It's a good fitting name to reflect that in the past a lot of wheat was grown in the area. This area is going to really boom and become a desirable place to live and raise children.

   This place is a CLASSIC institution of getting on your bike having a ride around the hills and having a responsible beer! Always fun to look at people's bikes and fancy cars. They in turn look at yours. Nice people have a brew here and its super friendly. I dont come here as much as I used to but, it's great. I reccomend this place for some old school kiwis pub experience. No posers allowed. Keep up the good stuff!!!

   Stopped in for brunch while on a short travel. Menu is basic but would meet the needs of most while passing through. Ordered two big breakfasts and were very satisfied with our meals. Very affordable and lovely service. Would stop in again.
