   Had an early 1st flight on Qantas to BNE so was among the 1st few pax when door opened. Basic food selection, one of two coffee makers was out of service. Ambiance felt old & drab, suggest brighten up place.

   Small touches make a big difference Manaia Lounge at Christchurch International Airport is a pleasant spot to relax before a flight. The alcohol selection is solid, and there’s no shortage of seating, making it easy to find a comfortable space. While the food choices are on very limited side, staff member Zarnia stood out with her thoughtful gesture of bringing out freshly toasted bread slices — a small touch that really lifted the experience and gave them 3 stars purely on her excellent service !

   A comfortable stopover made warmer by great service. The Manaia Lounge at Christchurch International Airport offers a relaxing space with plenty of seating and a good alcohol selection. While the vegetarian food options were a bit limited, staff member Zarnia went above and beyond by offering freshly toasted bread slices, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Her service made the experience feel more personal and welcoming.

   This is a compact, cosy lounge with comfortable seating & super friendly staff. The sparkling wine is a local brew & very good. Great selection of tasty vegetarian food was available when we visited . Also some interesting sweet treats. Only complaint we had was no barista coffee it was out of a machine.

   Much better than AirNew Zealand International lounge, but far from perfect. Service is nice and polite, you get greeted by very friendly staff. There are enough of seats available and facilities are good overall. The only disappointment is food or lack of it. Bare minimum as cheap as possible some toast bread and scrambled eggs ? You kidding me ? Ever heard of other options ? Complete lack of any dairy free , vegetarian or vegan options. Nothing to chose from. Same with coffee, there is Nespresso machine but no alternative milk options. What is this , 1990 ? This country is so behind the rest of the world, when it comes to healthy food that it’s that not even funny anymore.

   Overcrowded mess, what is it about NZ airline lounges, it’s obviously a race to the bottom. This lounge is on par with the Air New Zealand Auckland lounge. Can’t get a seat, food is terrible, and the tables are never cleared. Big disappointment if you’re on a First or Business flight on Emirates. Better to be out in the main are than the Mania Christchurch.
