   Edit to add: within hours of my review someone contacted me and had managed to track one down. It even got delivered , thank you. Service was okay, but not what you would expect when spending a couple of thousand dollars. The purchase was advertised with a free beanbag while stocks last, which is an effective way to draw customers in. However, there were none available at the time of purchase, despite the promotion still being advertised. I was told one would be sourced for me, but I heard nothing until I followed it up myself. After contacting the store, a beanbag was ordered and I was sent a tracking link. I was told to follow the link and, similar to the lounge suite, come in to collect it once it had “arrived”. I travelled across town to collect it, only to be told the information was inaccurate and that a bulk order had been placed but had not yet arrived. I raised a complaint due to the lack of communication and wasted travel time. I was then told another beanbag would be sourced from the North Island and would take about a week. While I was already in that area, I stopped in again, only to be told it still hadn’t arrived and did not exist in-store. I was again assured one would be sent and that I would be contacted when it arrived — I am still waiting. I would not usually complain about a complimentary item, however this complaint is not about the item itself, but about how the situation has been handled. The ongoing lack of follow-through and clear communication has been disappointing. As a result, I would be hesitant to shop here again, as the service I have received has not felt up to scratch.

   We had an awesome experience with Kaamil Patel. He found us a gorgeous couch, gave a really good price, and walked us through all the options with patience and clarity. When our colour wasn’t in the showroom, he organised the warehouse so we could still get exactly what we wanted. Professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Five stars from us!

   I purchased the Cano Outdoor Lounge Suite thinking it’s a cheap set from a cheap company, it’ll do for now but replace it soon. Wow, I was wrong. My entire experience with Big Save has totally exceeded my expectations from customer service (shoutout to Wendy in Invercargill), easy and helpful delivery, to an exceptional product; easy to build, flawless and perfect outdoor furniture. My misconceptions about Big Save have been corrected. Highly, highly impressed. Will definitely shop there again

   Last Friday I visited BigSave store in Christchurch to purchase sofa-bed. There were no customers except me and another indian family. All staff members were very busy chatting to this family I think their compatriots. I hoped that one the staff members would offer me assistance but I didn't get any. Finally I asked for a help. Sanjeev or Sangeet Kumar offered me a help. But when I asked him to stay around me for longer and navigate me around the shop he disappeared. When I looked for him he said:he or any of his staff members not serving me because I was rude to him. The only thing I asked him is to stay around me for longer and navigate me around the shop. He considered this request as a rudeness. When I asked for a manager he said:he is a manager. I am very disappointed with very poor level of customer service at this store. I will never ever shop at this store and I would not advice to anybody to go there.

   worst service ever. bought a bed set, with 2 side table , the delivery itself took more than 20 days , whereas on the day i bought it , the CSR assured us that it will take 7 to 12 max days ,every time they came up with different excuses and kept changing delivery date. On delivery day i was informed that one of the side table is damaged and they will get another in few days and have it delivered. its now more than a week, no one got back to me as to when i will get my side table . pathetic service, the guy who answered my phone was laughing instead of apologising.

   Have brought two beds from here now. Service has been great both times. They have new zealands most sold bed I believe, its cheap and better than the one I spent 8k on which is my sleepyhead from else where. Will be back any time I need furniture.

   Poor communication. Faulty product (under warranty)which took nearly 4 months to get an answer about a replacement which then took another 2 months to get delivered. Come delivery day, had to ring and got told it will be another month before we get it. Would not purchase from them again but unable to get our money back. Only store credit
