Very surprised at the great specials. If you enjoy processed meats like sausages mince and many other things would highly recommend you take a look.
Not as affordable as it was, but often $4-$5 deals. We find now prices are similar to Supermarket anyway, especially with our fav Pork Sausages.

Pricing can be good, but sometimes supermarket specials are better and you get the real deal not off its.
UPDATE: 9/8/23 $50 Whole hams!!! 3kg English breakfast sausages for less than $20 t's really awesome, I had to buy bulk sausages for a church lunch on Saturday ... I got 2x 2kg normal precooked sausages, 2kg chicken sausages and 2kg American hotel dogs for 7.95 each!!! RRP would be double? These are the seconds but look pretty good lol Upsate: 25/1/23 went today and there's huge packs of shaved ham for $6, salami for $4 and lamb burgers for $5 ... great deals
Hit and miss as to what is there. Some great specials and some average ones depending on the day. I do have to wonder why they run a heat pump on hot in a room full of open chillers? Including in the summer???
Great value - particularly if running school lunches/ tight budget meals. There is a FB page you can join - generally shows the weekly specials on a Monday for the week. Certainly added value if part of the Nth Canterbury community.
Friendly and helpful staff. This is a good place to check out when you go past if you're local as some days nothing seems to much of a deal and others huge deals/savings.
