Ordered an extra large cappuccino and waited for 10 mins, noticed all the young staff were just keeping themselves busy by stocking things up and Noone was on coffee machine. I was the only customer waiting after going to the gym wanting my takeaway coffee.. Just as I was about to say somwthing the girl that served me noticed me and then went and took docket to the barista, she then made my coffee which is not even drinkable. Burnt shot and oversteamed milk. When she called out my order there was no apology for wait and no smile or ounce of customer service from any of the girls working they all looked miserable. I work as a barista myself and this is just totally unacceptable, I understand mistakes happen but at least be apologetic to the customer and even better make the wait worth it by not burning coffee.. I will say that on other times I have been served by a lovely young pakeha man who makes exceptional coffee and has wonderful customer service, you should give him a raise and get him to teach the other young ones. I will not be ordering from your cafe again unless if I see the same staff working that were on today.

Went there on Saturday with a friend after a swim. There was a fly in food cabinet. Brought this to the attention of the young girl who was serving us. She removed fly, and proceeded to serve us(yuck, other food was still in there). Guy came in who owned the place, we explained to him what had happened, he made out he didn't understand us. We actually had to tell him to take out all the food in the cabinet, because the fly has probably touched it all. eventually that was done(food removed)hopefully it wasn't returned to cabinet after we left. Tables were very dirty, no cleaning done while we were there. We won't be returning.

The young staff have the best of the intentions but its clear that they lack experience and good management. With a good experienced manager / operator this could be a good option after a good day at the pools. Tables are left dirty for long periods of time (we have to clean our table) coffee were served cold, etc.

Cafe was quiet, but they forgot our food. Coffee was nice, but service was slow. Would just go somewhere else next time and save myself the hassle of having to chase up our orders.
