   The best op shop on the island hands down. The staff here are the best though they do get put upon by entitled locals who sometimes want to use the loo or get a discount. Here's a clue for you; go to the toilet at home and don't expect to mess up the toilet that is for volunteers working there for 8 hours. Everything raised (beyond staff wages) goes to great local cause and that is something that the island needs to cherish. I wish there were more charities like WISCA who would have a local input.

   The op shop is often busy, with lots of people and volunteers, creating a cramped atmosphere that can feel a bit overwhelming. It's not the most conducive space for relaxed browsing & shopping. Additionally, some prices feel a bit on the higher side.

   Unfortunately my usually good experience of this op shop is now overshadowed by the feeling of being ripped off. Thismorning i was rather over-charged on 3 little mixing bowls, because items were concidered "possibly Retro... we could get more for these". Really WISCA? You've became expensive since becoming 'independant' from SPCA. Interesting...

   The SPCA store is well worth a visit. They provide a great service on the island and are trying there very best. It's sad that they have to put up with the location they are at, but I presume it fulfills their needs. Went in the other day looking for a pot steamer and found two. Go and have a look.
