   Great hotel in an ideal location for exploring beautiful Christchurch. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Only downside was no aircon/fan, so had to keep windows open, which made it quite noisy from the revellers walking past late into the night.

   Wonderful location! Short stroll to New Regent St which had a variety of bars and eateries. Tourist tram stopped just outside the hotel which took you around the CBD where you could get on and off at your leisure. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

   Fortunately we stayed only for 1 night. Ended up with a room the size of a toiler..Couldn't swing a cat... seriously.... not even any room to put a suitcase.. (Had to leave it on the floor in front of the entry door)... which meant every time we went out we had to move the case... good thing there wasn't a fire in the middle of the night... then again the bed was hard up against the window so I could always throw myself out if there was. never again.... for what we paid we could have had far far better accommodation... location was the only plus side.

   What a great little hotel. Friendly staff. Funky interior and comfy well appointed rooms. Location is great with plenty of transport, food and shopping options within walking distance. It was very close to the combined hire car facility in Christchurch city which was great for us picking up our car after our stay. We found that prices fluctuated quite a lot, so be sure to book a cancellable rate and check back frequently.

   This room gave you everything you need in the centre of Christchurch within easy walking distance of food, shopping and the river. The shape of the room and bathroom was a bit quirky, but overall serviceable, with a large comfortable bed, desk and sizable balcony looking over the Christchurch Tramway. There is a small wall heater in the room, but the room was a nice temperature (visiting in September). There was a small issue with the room allocation at the beginning, but this was resolved by staff quickly. I was placed on a first floor room, just above the tram line. It wasn't very disruptive, but you could hear it in the room. However, it is what it is and is quite a unique hotel location.

   Great location CBD next to conference centre. Recommend Miro for breakfast 2 min walk away. No car needed! Good security card access. Small room but clean and tidy.

   Small hotel close to cathedral, theatre rpyal and city centre shops and restaurants. It isn't expensive and the rooms are well equipped but quite small. There are no public areas apart from reception. There is parking next door which is quite expensive but very convenient. Cool location next to the city tram depot.

   In all honesty, not my fav. Clean, but super basic. 2 level hotel, felt like a prison room. Had a little TV, which I did not turn on. Light switch searching was interesting. Felt cold with the heat on. Cld have been at Novatel for same $$. Staff were lovely and helpful

   This is a very cute place. There are only two issues, and one is small, the other hard. The bathroom door opens the wrong way. You have to move backward to open it, as you can't open and walk through. Bedding was of very nice quality, BUT..... the bed itself was too hard. It is really good how you have to swipe to enter the building, so not anyone can walk in. Front of house staff friendly. There is a public car park around the corner, which is way cheaper than paying $30 for parking alongside the hotel.

   Very average. The hotel has no dining room for breakfast. All facilities are not on site, you have to walk to the building across the street. It’s a glorified hostel. There are much better options with 1-3 minutes walk away.
