Both the stir-fried squid with pork and the pork bone soup were above average in taste. Service was friendly. However, some pork pieces had an unpleasant odor, and the restaurant’s atmosphere was not appealing.
I saw the reviews and photos before I went to this place. We ordered hot stone bibimbap, it was visually very good! However too greasy and too small portion because hot stone bowl was very shallow. Even the side dishes weren’t good. Service also wasn’t friendly.
The loveliest people run this wee gem tucked in a lane at Church Cnr. Such friendly polite service. Hot crispy squid entree $12 shared, pork cutlet, pork spare ribs, little surprise dishes to accompany, rice and green tea for under $70 for 2. Huge meals and so tasty. Looking forward to returning and trying more dishes. Simple surroundings but staff and food make it.
Must-try Korean restaurant in Chch! Enjoyed a delicious dinner here. The male waiter in a black hoodie provided enthusiastic and warm service! Very tasty!

I used to be a loyal customer as I really like their spicy beef soup and raw beef bibibab. Seems like they changed the ownership. Now the food portion is only half of what it was. Side dish not as tasty as before. Disappointed
Not as good as before, I haven't been there for a while and it seems the owner has changed. The pork back bone soup use to be my favour, but this time not very impressed.
It is a great dining place for family, especially if you have young kids. Very good food. However, not the same chef and staff all the time, so the experiences are not the same either. We usually come on Monday as we think the food tastes a bit better ^_^
