   We had a fantastic team dinner here! The sweet roasted beef brisket, lamb, and pork ribs were incredibly flavorful, and the buffalo chicken wings were tender and perfectly smoked. The service was awesome and kept the energy high for our group. Highly recommended for any team outing!

   I’m not usually a meat lover, but Smoky T completely won me over. The brisket, ribs, and chicken wings were all outstanding — tender, flavourful, and perfectly smoked. Pairing them with a cold glass of beer made the meal even better. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who made the experience smooth from start to finish. Everything arrived quickly and in great condition. Overall, an unexpectedly fantastic meal. Highly recommended!

   Absolutely amazing! We came here on our first day in New Zealand and loved it so much that we came back again on our last day. We tried a bunch of BBQ spots around the country, but Smoky T is easily my number one. My ranking: brisket ➡️ buffalo wings, ➡️ pork belly ➡️ pork ribs. Their slaw and sauce are also delicious! The platter for two is huge. My partner and I both eat a lot, and we still could barely finish it. Highly recommend this place! Will definitely come back the next time I’m in Christchurch.

   Not bad of a place for a bbq. Limited chicken options for non beef eaters , but jerk chicken and chicken wings are very good options. The music was a bit loud for my liking. Otherwise, ambience and cleanliness is very good. Staff were excellent.

   It was quiet with one table leaving as we were entering to the restaurant at 5.30 pm. The place began to get filled up 5 minutes after we sat down. We asked the guys leaving the restaurant how was the food and their quick response were that the food was very good. We glanced the menu quickly. We decided to make it easy for two of us and ordered a platter for two. We did not have lunch but still could not finish all the meat and the fries. Our comment is that be prepared to be hungry for platter for two. A staff came and offered a box; relatively friendly and good service. The sausage was good. Meat was tender; it would be better if we could taste a bit more smoky on the meat. Overall it was good food and tasted good with hands and figures. It would be nice if there was eating gloves or wet napkin as we were spoiled in the restaurants at home.

   We got the platter for 2 and every element of the dish was considered delicious. The standout is the waffle fries, sausage and the ribs. The fries are really crispy and flavoured perfectly. Also! The yeaboi sauce at the side really adds flavours to the meat, do add it to your meats! Staff was friendly and service was prompt, recommended.

   First time diners are Smokey T's. We were seated up stairs and welcomed by the very friendly staff. We had trouble deciding what to get so we got the Smokey T's platter for 2. All of the different meats were soo good. We left very full and happy. Will definitely be going back.
