Update 16 November 2025: I'm not sure what's changed but today's cappuccino's were really awful. Milky and couldn't taste any espresso. Please change back or correct the problem. Won't be back unfortunately. The cappucino was perfect and the little chocolate was a welcome addition. Lovely little cafe with delicious food options. It wasn't busy as we were there early in the morning. Can't beat the view a few meters away.
I took my Vietnamese wife to view the Mount across the Tauranga Harbour from the marina at the end of Sulphur Point. We stopped for a light lunch at the Marina Cafe expecting outrageous prices but instead a lovely little cafe serving food at very reasonable prices. I ordered a simple toasted sandwich of sweetcorn and cheese. Wow what came out was a massive toasted sandwich with loads of sweetcorn and cheese in it. I needed the fork that came with it to gather up the spillage on the plate. I haven't had a quality toasted sandwich like that before. Really friendly staff and I can recommend the spearmint milkshake too. It's a tiny little cafe and I think a lot of people don't know it exists so I felt the need to write a review so other travelers can find it too.

Great coffee β and service. Long wait though on Saturday morning since they were busy.
Cute place, cheap eats (e.g. white or grain bread...no other options) but tasty when working on the boat all day every day! Good selection of cold drinks and delicious coffee too. Wish they'd update their opening hours on Google though. Often closed when we turn up between 1pm-3pm...on weekdays or weekend...doesn't seem to be consistency.
Has very nice fish n chips lunch, good quick service and friendly people . Will go there again
First time to visit the Cafe and we're very impressed with the food and the service. My husband always asks for extra hot for his drink and very rarely gets it. But today he was pleased he got what he asked for. Thanks girls - we'll be back βΊ
