    Five stars for location, right in the centre of Christchurch, opposite the town hall. A short stroll to many attractions. There's a lovely, open atrium type space in the centre of the building with a central fountain. Creates an instant feeling of calm. Our room was clean, comfortable and big enough for two. After 3 nights, unfortunately, we have to deduct stars for the lack of cooking items in the self contained kitchen. A microwave was provided, but only a small glass bowl, without a lid, was provided, no specific microwave cooking utensils. Two small saucepans for the stovetop, yet no frypan! Maybe it's a way to prevent you risking setting off the fire alarm, but if you provide cooking machinery, some tools to help you use them would be useful... There was only 2 champagne flutes provided, no standard wine glasses, so you're forced to use a glass tumbler for any wine or other fluids. We reported these on checkout as neither issue would stop us returning, but also be aware, because we weren't, that you'll be charged NZD$15 a day to park a car in their carpark.

    This hotel was great, particularly the location, which was handy to central Christchurch. Left the car in the very reasonably priced car park and walked everywhere. Restaurant food fine but not being able to take the bottle to your room after the meal not ideal. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will come again.

    Huge rooms although a little tired, bed very soft. Has a full kitchen but very little equipment. Good location, parking available if needed. Room service restaurant, 87 Dealers is not worth the money. The 2 meals we ordered were less than average. Very nice atrium

    We stayed here in August '25. Really nice hotel. I stayed in room 402, the view wasn't great, but the room was A+. This room has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, king sized bed, large living area with huge TV. The hotel is located across the street from the Town Hall (where my wife's conference was). Everything Christchurch proper has to offer is easily walkable from this location.

    Rooms are spacious but basic. Bathrooms are small and old. Staff is super friendly! However, the menu in the room and even in the lift say that there is room service. When you try to call the number the line goes dead and when you go to the shabby looking restaurant downstairs, there is a sign that says you can’t get room service and have to pay right there, so charging it to the room is not an option. So, honestly all in all I’m a bit baffled that this place has five stars…

    Excellent place, huge rooms, plus kitchen. No TV in bedrooms. The outside is a bit basic but the rooms are very nice. Staff were great only 4 star for service because this is an apartment hotel not a full service establishment. Recommended

    The rooms were really nice, but there was no soap in the shower area (we had to use the one from the sink), and no towel rail. Also the walls are really thin, so talking from the next room kept us awake. A nice quiet area at night, but no ventilation in the bedrooms unless you keep the doors open!

    Super average rooms and poor service, no shampoo or Body wash provided, we asked and still got none, room average at best, one of bedrooms has window into the atrium where light shone thru all night, if you want sleep take earplugs and eye mask. No tv in bedrooms, parking $10 per night, ok location, couch uncomfortable, bed average at best. Never stay agian, never recommend
