   Stayed in this motel for few weeks everything was perfect and staff were very friendly and provided me everything I needed, staff there take care of customers very well , highly recommend people stay here

   This is a very nice place to stay, rooms equiped with cooking facilities and utensils, everything necessary for short and longer term stays, including a laundry room. Rooms are kept very clean and weekly cleaning is offered by staff. I have currently been here 1 month with my dog after losing my job and home and the staff have done exceptional in making sure all guests are welcomed and have a comfortable stay. Very animal friendly which is hard to find! I would recommend AAA Northland's to anyone needing a place to stay with a dog. Ground floor units do have sufficient outdoor space for your animals needs with also a shared garden space for upstairs residence. Walking distance to parks, library and shopping malls with easy access to the rest of Christchurch via motorways! Definately deserves a higher star rating! Thank you AAA Northland's!

   This is a great budget friendly place, the rooms are a bit run down, but the new owners are really friendly and helpful and they are working hard to upgrade the place and create an awesome stay for the guests. We stayed here for a few weeks whilst we were waiting for our rental to become available and the owners went out of their way to accommodate us at short notice. We especially loved the free washer in the guest laundry (you will need $4 in coins for the dryer though).

   Rooms were clean, modern and fresh. I had everything I needed for my stay. Location was great for what I was travelling for. Overall for what I paid, the room exceeded my expectations for the 8 night stay I was there. I just wish I had a few more cooking utensils to make things easier. I also had dogs with me which I felt comfortable having inside the room. The hotel owners were friendly and helpful when I needed it. However.... My room was located next to a young couple who are long term "tenants" from the discussions that were had. The first few nights were fine, however as my stay progressed they got more and more disruptive to my stay. I think I maxed 2 hours sleep 6 of the 8 nights. I heard volatile fights, I had them partying and people coming and going until 3am in the morning. They even did loud vacuuming or watched the tv loudly in the middle of the night. It got the point where I couldn't use the backyard of the room due their dogs. One night they left at 8:30 pm and didn't return until 1am in the morning leaving their back door open and dogs loose. The only time I could use the backyard was at 5:30am in the morning and as soon as they heard me up and out there the door to their room opened and I had to bring my dogs back in. We also believe that they may have tried to enter our room through the internal doors one day as the door had been pushed in. Thankfully I had a dog crate blocking it so nobody could get through. So would I stay here again? If I was in that same room - no!

   Friendly to your face, very dirty, number of complantes over fleas and itchy scabs appearing on customers, money hungry, were deep cleaning rooms because of this and discarding old mattresses, yet charged me 700$ through winz to clean my room, lying cheating stealers, be careful when you sign as they will do anything for a buck. I would give no stars if i could.

   Room was dirty and smelled like someone had smoked in there for a week. I stayed room 13 overnight and luckily didn't require kitchen facilities. Bathroom was dirty and had dead flies. Shower clearly not clean with pink mold on floor and black mold in sealant. Bed linens and towels appeared clean but bed duvet cover was disgusting and I didn't want to chance getting in the bed so slept on top in sleeping bag. In the morning long term tenants complained loudly to each other that the occupant of room 13 had banged the door all night however the last time I went in the room was 8pm and certainly wasn't a bang. Occupants of room thru adjoining door banged their cupboard doors till at least 10pm. Get what you pay for. Reception staff was lovely and polite and wifi and shower pressure were good.

   The guy at the counter was friendly. But over all the hygiene and cleanliness there was none. The bathroom and toilet were dirty, There was no cups in the room and a few dead sandflies and moths in the bath tub and in the bathroom sink. And also oven was dirty and the dish in the oven was dirty and not washed.

   You certainly get what you pay for here...On arrival room smelt like vomit, felt dirty, parts of motel wernt clean. Bed covers hideous, some cutlery were plastic spoons, Mental health people, long term tenants staying here having fights screaming outside early hours keeping us awake so rude when your a paying customer....Pet friendly which was good. Showwr was great good pressure. Sky tv oy 1 channel and one remote didnt go batteries were dead. I used sky box to try and get more channels but still only 1channel, lucky had my own portable camp tv. I wouldnt recommend mainly due to fact loud tenants, and the smell in room is bad. I stayed number 11.
