    It wasnt what I expected, but I really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is a granny flat at the back of soneones house,which made it a bit weird at first as thats not what I thought I booked, however it was a great stay. The room was comfortable but a bit warm - the owners immediately went to the shops and brought a fan which made the stay much more pleasant. The owners were considerate, and were friendly without gettung involved in our coming and goings. It was really great value for money and walking distance to the local shops, and a quick drive to Christchurch central.
