    Have stayed here many times. An older motel but with plenty of space.afull kitchen with oven and good sized fridge. Always immaculately clean and Stewart and Maree great hosts. Not right in the city which we like.

    We stayed here 3 nights. Rooms are clean and spacious. Well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer. Relaxing and quite. Motel is close to shops with a supermarket just down the road. Only issue was the hot water was too hot, and the shower mixer is installed incorrectly (room 4 - turning it towards cold makes it hotter) so be careful with young children.

    Travelled from Picton to Dunedin and stayed overnight in Christchurch at Garden City Motel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, tidy and warm. A good location close to shops. I would recommend Garden City Motel if you are looking for a place to stay in Christchurch.

    Poor room quality on return trip, moved to a worse room then told the booking had to be cut short. Dont reccomend. Nice owner operators though. Just a shame they dont care about providing the service they charge for
