   We've been locals in selwyn for 4 years but only visited crate & barrel for the first time 2 weeks ago. Why didn't we come sooner!!?? Great venue, lots of points of interest for busy minded kids. Awesome menu, fast friendly service and delicious meals. I didn't.even have time to the photos of the food as everyone tucked in so quickly. This will be our new regular for sure!

   We stayed here for a wedding, and this place is amazing! . The room was great - clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff here are next level - literally nothing has been too much, even down to posting back an item I left behind. The food is really good and the pub itself is fabulous. We’ll definitely be back.

   Would give 6x stars if i could purely for the outstanding service providered from Jade. Couple of miscommunication hiccups when we ordered through another staff member but the meals were amazing. The meals were good value for the generous portions, they were beautifully presented and delicious. The manager looked after us when it come to paying the bill. I would also say they would have the best birthday deal around. Thoroughly recommend this place and guarantee we will be back. Jade was the superstar of the experience, thank you.

   We found ourselves with an hour to spare while our car was being serviced and on recommendation, went to the Crate & Barrel for breakfast. We were made very welcome on entering and were seated next to the fire. While our breakfasts were being cooked, we were given a guided tour to look at the extensive memorabilia. Wow!! The sports section was impressive as was the musical instruments as wall art and many other collections. Food was delicious and plentiful, coffee superb and service impeccable. Highly recommend and we will be back soon.

   Don’t know what’s going on at Crate & Barrell Leeston. Have previously had beautiful meals but this Sunday was shocking resulting in a number of us with diarrhoea. The fish meal came with 12 chips a bit of lettuce definitely not value at $32. As I say don’t know why it has deteriorated.

   Sunday 18th July for a booked lunch party of over 20 people, service was shocking and seemed an inconvenience that we were there even though booked at least a month ago, missing food and mix up with food. Drinks we were told order now as not coming back to take any more orders. Didn't think they had 2 bottles of Bubbles asked for so had to take different types. Surely you should have been prepared. Having worked in Leeston I found this an embarrassment to the town.
