Definitely do not recommend for immigration medicals. It’s been 3 weeks and they still haven't uploaded my results. They don't answer calls and take ages to reply to emails. Clinics need to be far more responsible when dealing with sensitive matters like immigration. Their lack of communication and delays are putting my entire visa application at risk.

Hi, I’d like to provide some feedback about our visit yesterday. We came in because my son had a head injury and was bleeding. He only needed his wound glued, which was handled, but the experience left us feeling quite uncomfortable. The nurse attending to my son seemed shy and possibly new, but she was doing her best. However, while she was preparing to treat him, another nurse came over and took her trolley without explanation. This left the nurse who was helping us with no proper workspace, and it came across as unprofessional and disrespectful. Shortly after, a doctor approached and told her off for the way she was applying the glue, saying it could cause contamination for the next patient. But from what we observed, the issue was caused because the other nurse had removed her trolley with all the necessary equipment. Witnessing the way the staff treated each other, along with us not feeling acknowledged or reassured during the process, made us quite uncomfortable. As soon as my son’s treatment was finished, we asked if we could leave. I wanted to make you aware of this situation, as it didn’t feel like the level of care or professionalism we expected.

Went there all I had in mind was HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE. There is no way you will get out without spending at least 2 hours in there, but the care and the stuff they are doing are good and it seems to help. But they need to improve their waiting time, like be prepared to lose an entire part of your day. Still excellent place if you have the patience

Went to After hours Victoria Street clinic with sick child. Other times been there had little wait time, this time was busy and wait was 55 mins (which is prob ok???). Saw NP Micheal. Caring, helpful, rang 2 days later with test results and to check up with us. Would go again if after hours.

I have been going to this same medical centre for years as it's hard to change doctors in my area or I would have done it a long time ago. The doctors are rude unless you see the ones at urgent care which are lovely. I wouldn't recommend the general GP where you have to book an appointment. There's been times where my son has been unwell and when I've asked what he can or can't drink or eat I been told "it's up to him what he feels like". It seems they don't care. Whenever you call you can never get through and then after 15 minutes the line gets cut off.I had trauma and had to explain to the doctor exactly what happened in my past just to get seen by a therapist which was very triggering and the one therapist that I got referred to at a different place was completely unprofessional and gaslit me which has put me off about seeming help for my anxiety and depression. The doctors are always running behind and when you ask you are always given an answer of "I don't know. You just need to wait". Today I had booked an appointment for my son to see a doctor and the receptionist of Indian descent with curly hair had booked the wrong date. After an hour of waiting and then asking I was told by the other receptionist"she booked the wrong day. This happens sometimes but don't worry you will be seen in 10-15 minutes". After going back to the waiting area she tells the one in training not to worry because it won't be the last time the wrong day will be put that so it's okay to make this mistake. I even had a doctor google the symptoms a while ago when I was unwell . The doctor I had seen today about my son wheezing, coughing since Thursday and with a blocked nose was told it's not a virus or a cold. He's got viral wheezing that could be asthma later on. Hands us a device and says we need to ask the pharmacy about how to use the inhaler? Isn't that the doctor's job ? Not only that but the room smelled like b.o. This entire place is completely ridiculous and incompetent! Please read the other google reviews because it's true ! Don't waste your time here

I have been a registered patient for 13 years, my children also. Since when did seeing urgent care for under 12s go from being free to $19 and in a very short time say three weeks to $30. I have seen my three little ones have seen docters three times in 3weeks. Today my grandson who's in my care has a long history of respiratory problems. A long history of needing antibiotics of the strongest kind coupled with steroids and today i rang and told them he's only got worse amoxicilin is not enough. They seen him Friday they know he has a chest infection they know by his history he needs the steriods. I'm taking another day off work they should simply fax us what he needs. But they are forcing me to pay another $30 or what till 5pm for the free service. Which will mean he misses a day of the right medication and I miss another day or two off work. A job I only just started. I have seen many families walk out with sick babies due to this new system. And I am now disgusted at the new owners!!!! You are not for the people. Not even our little ones. Disgraceful !!

I don't think this clinic even worst a star. Worst customer service ever. Took someone in for an Immigration Chest X-ray and the price is ripped off, you have to pay $75 for referral and then another extra $121 for the X-ray. The reception did not give you clear instructions on how to proceed, just gave you a slip and point you the way out to Radiology for the Chest X-ray. Then when we arrived at Radiology, they told us to go back out to the other side of the building to do the Chest X-ray. The door was locked and you had to go back to Victoria clinic and asked them again. Then there was a nurse who look grumpy and come out asking you to wait in the hall way, and i just asked how long it would take, she was not happy and said she does not know, she has to set up the camera, I told her I was not happy with the way I have to go back and forward in the building just to get a chest x-ray done in a bit loud voice, then there was a white lady came to told me off and said I was being aggressive toward the nurse. I was so angry and told her, I just want to talk to that nurse, what is the problem with the white lady coming to support her, I was not even insulting the nurse. The white lady totally like come out of nowhere and try to support the Filipino nurse and accuse me of being intimidated. I told her I was just feeling frustrated that the receptionist did not tell me where to go exactly and just want to deal with the nurse not her, and please go away. She was not happy to go away and started giving me lessons before she walked off. This would be my last time in the Victoria clinic.

The worst customer service ever!!! We brought our 2month old baby because he’s having difficulty in breathing and he was crying a lot especially at night, also cant sleep well. As first time parents, we didnt know what to do. Came hone from work, picked the baby and decided to go to this clinic, since their website says they’re offering urgent care for babies / child between 6-8pm. We arrived exactly 6:50pm (more than an hour before closing). Went straight to receptionist, unfortunately she wasn’t helpful and a bit rude, and just say that sorry they’re already closed for the night due to a lot of patients! Didnt even bother to ask what is happening to the baby! So i asked if maybe, they are still able to accomodate us? or somebody can check the baby? She just straight up told me, do you wanna talk to the manager?! Then the manager came and stared us like we did something wrong!?, She just directly told us, sorry, but we we’re closed due to lot of patient tonight (the way she said SORRY was just a word but her eyes and gestures asking us to just leave!!! because we’re closed! Both, the receptionist and manager showing some atittude. Also the manager didnt even bother to look at the baby, even to ask if what’s wrong with my boy?, or even just to suggest any nearby clinic that maybe can help us? Sometimes i just cant understand that there are people that still working in this type of places, and having bad atittude towards their patients!!? The establishment shows (URGENT CARE) but i think they DOESN’T EVEN CARE!!! Im sorry, to write this long, but our experience wasnt the great.

Waited four n half hour to see the doc for my four year old. Great helpful staff but considering the time frame can be helpful. It’s painful for both child n parents when you have a sick kid.

I am on holiday from UK . Had nose bleed Saturday night ended up in New Plymouth hospital where they inserted packing . Which needed to be removed when I arrived here in Hamilton. The Victoria Clinic was excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The Doctor..Gus...who removed the packing was excellent ,kind , efficient, professional, gentle, understanding. The NHS in UK could pick up several tips on how to effectively and efficiently run the urgent care (A&E). department. Thanks very much everyone.
