   We've done a fair number of moves, and New Zealand Movers is by far the best company we have ever worked with. Their pricing is competitive, and their coordinators are very responsive. They made the whole process easy and transparent. When it came to moving day, the team was top notch. They treated our belongings with more care than even I would do. Joe, Keanu, and Corey kept the whole team working efficiently and made sure everything got to the right place. Mel O, Josie, and Lorraine did a wonderful job packing up our items. Dan and Ryan were both fast and careful. Normally, moving is stressful and frustrating. This team made it easy. I strongly recommend choosing New Zealand Movers over any other option.

   Should be able to rate this team twice because we moved twice in the space of a quarter. Both times the entire team was professional, friendly, careful, funny, and personable. After the headache of moving overseas and having that go very poorly NZ Movers made this last leg of the trip so pleasant it almost redeemed the American leg of the journey. When we had to choose a company for our last move we picked them instantly. We were delighted to have the same team that was with us the first time. Joe, Corey, and Keanu oversaw the entire move and were amazing BOTH MOVES. Ryan and Dan did an incredible job on day two and Josie, Lorraine, and Mel O were incredible on day one. We have a fair amount of stuff by American standards, and a colossal amount by Kiwi standards. The team took all of our crap, kids, dogs, cat, horse, and mean neighbor's dog in stride. If they were bothered by it, it certainly didn't come off that way. They even put up with a toddler and a nosy five year old asking them all the questions. Brandon and I will be highly recommending NZ Movers for the many expat doctors and venture capital folks moving after us and we'll make sure to recommend the wonderful team we had personally. Thank you all so much for being our perfect welcome to our new lives in New Zealand!

   Used New Zealand Movers Christchurch for the NZ component of our move from Australia. Scott, Sabbath, Jaden, Ryan and Jet moved us into our rental in Riccarton this past Monday. Very professional bunch of lads and very hard workers. Couldn't have asked for a better bunch to get us moved in and setup in our kiwi home. They had it all knocked over in no time. Much appreciated fellas.

   Our move started in Brisbane in the middle of the pandemic, a lack of containers and container ships. We also had the issue of trying to get a position in MIQ to move our self’s to NZ. As it turned out our belongings arrived into the hands of New Zealand Mover long before we could there, that is when our stress levels reached an all time high. We need not have worried as Summer Croucher and her team handled everything even things they weren’t responsible for. Getting access to our new home delivering all our possessions, checking everything was there, had our cars inspected then delivered to the house and locked up in the garage, even organise to have some transport damage (which occurred prior to them receiving the cars) repaired. Summer made us feel confident and assured that it was all under control, we cannot speak highly enough. We are very grateful to have used New Zealand Movers and to know Summer.

   Moving from Christchurch to Melbourne, I searched for international shipping providers. I was recommended to try another company but I wanted to shop around first. I asked several different companies for quotes and New Zealand Movers replied first within 24 hours and offered the cheapest quote. They initially couldn't pick up my items on the date requested and only had availability to pick up after I was due to leave the country. They shuffled things around and made it work and I am eternally grateful for that (big thank you to Joanne C in customer services - she has been excellent from start to end). The Chch packers were quick and professional, I was walked through everything I needed to do on my end, and received regular updates on arrival times etc. Would definitely recommend NZ Movers to anyone moving internationally.

   Very thorough team who are happy to help work through what you need to get moved. We moved between islands and this added an extra cost of marine insurance (ferry) which you can only get through an independent broker or the moving company itself. Your home contents insurance doesn't cover inter island l moves. Nzmovers had reasonable rates and they had delivered a discount voucher to my letterbox shortly after my house sold which was the reason I called them for a quote. They also picked up all the boxes and packing material a few weeks after our move.

   NZ Movers looked after our move from Australia to Nelson. It was a reasonably large move done in two shipments and involving two cars. At all times, NZ Movers kept us updated on where our goods were, how they were going through customs, projected dates of arrival. They were also very helpful with the logistics of getting our Australian cars through the process and onto the road. Special mention goes to Summer Croucher who is an expert in her field as well as being friendly and pleasant to deal with. We did have one hitch along the way but Summer smoothed it out quickly and efficiently. We recommend NZ Movers.
