   From reading previous reviews service hasn't changed... Horrible. Should have walked out but our son needed new school shoes... Nearly got charged wrong bringing this to the attention of the staff member on at the time and she argued that it was the correct price. I had to show her the price on the shoe to get her to believe me, mistakes happen but its how you deal with them. Hard to get good service from people who dont appreciate their jobs... Disappointing.

   Girl has a very rude behaviour and doesn’t helpful. She don’t know how to handle the customer as well as she put the tag that she will back in 15 mins and i’m waiting outside of the store more than half an hour. When she came back she open the store door just for herself and close the door again. Moreover she knew it we’re waiting for her. Never ever want to visit again in your store.

   Disappointing Customer Service Experience I recently visited Tauranga store on 24th August 2024 at between 3:15-3:30pm, From the moment we entered, it felt like we were being watched, and not in a helpful or welcoming way. One of the staff members was following us around the store, making us feel extremely uncomfortable, as if we were going to steal something. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also downright disrespectful. I would also request the management team to check your camera what they thought about this. As customers, we expect to browse and shop in peace without feeling like we're under suspicion for simply being in the store. This experience left us feeling bad and unwelcome, and it's not the kind of customer service anyone should have to endure. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this store, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to others. Customer service should be about making customers feel valued, not alienated. Management should train staff members. We regularly buy from sketcher and never felt like this. I was about to ask the staff member about this kind behaviour but then I thought this might be something that how the staff is trained.

   I recently brought a new pair of shoes from the Tauriko store. The girl in there was friendly but she accidentally overcharged me for the shoes and I didn’t realise until after the transaction was made as we were chatting while the payment went through. She then had no idea how to refund what I was owed as there was some sort of problem with the computer and could not just give me cash out of the till. I went away and came back half an hour later and there was another girl in there who also couldn’t do the refund. After waiting 20 or so minutes I left and said I would come back next time. When I did return the girl there still didn’t know how to the refund - I left again. Later receive a call that they could do it but the call dropped mid sentence and she never phoned back. I went back in again to wait another 20 minutes and finally was refunded back onto my card. My refund still hasn’t been processed and it’s been over 2 weeks. Won’t be shopping there again!

   I WOULD GIVE A -0000 ordered a shoe online from the store and it was sent from the Tauranga store was MEANT to be express shipping had issues waited 6days only to receive a sock which I ordered but not the shoes and spoke to Customer service who keeps giving 20% 0ff twice but I want what I paid off and now no reply and no sign of my order , worst service ever

   Yesterday I called Skechers to get details of previous shoes I had purchased and the lady on the phone was so incredibly friendly and helpful. I was intending on buying more shoes online but because of the phonecall I went in store. It was busy but Tyresha (found name from other reviews) was managing everyone wonderfully. She was able to help me find the right shoes for me and I went down a size which means I would have got the wrong size if I’d ordered online. She was so helpful and I’m really impressed with her service, friendliness and ability to manage multiple customers at once!

   We visited the Tauriko (Tauranga) store today with 4 generations of us, from my 92 year old father to my 7 year old granddaughter. Tyresha who was on her own in the store was incredibly helpful and patient, we tried on multiple shoes and nothing was a bother! We will be back… lucky Skechers having Tyresha!

   I love this shop. They have a massive range and everything is so well set out. What sets this shop apart from others is the quality of the staff. I was served by Tyresha. What a fabulous person she was - super helpful and handled running the shop solo with a calm professionalism.
