An exhilarating experience in short.. I have stayed with a big group of people in this hotel few times and the service has been par excellence. The rooms were clean, huge and well maintained. They believe good service is non- negotiable and Mr.Simon, the operation manager and his team takes special interest in ensuring that everything is well taken care during our stay in the hotel.. My group was well taken care and I have noticed that they even keep good selection of tea / coffee and hot chocolate sachets which are of premium quality and even provide water bottles and milk cartons free of charge in the rooms which is not common in all the hotels in new zealand where it's mostly tap water to be filled up as water is portable in new zealand. They have a decent breakfast buffet too. Looking forward to stay again and enjoy their services again .. Kudos Elms !!!
A great place to stay. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, we'll located in Chch for what we required. The only thing that was a disappointment was the buffet breakfast. Very limited and not enjoyable for the price we paid. We definitely expected better after having such a great stay otherwise. I did give feedback about this dissapointing breakfast experience and I got a lovely email back from the manager. I appreciate the time taken to address my feedback with the email. But overall, we woukd definitely stay at Hotel Elms again in the future!
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Elms in Christchurch. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and welcoming. A special shoutout to Rajendra at the front desk; he was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to answering questions with patience, he truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. His hospitality made the experience even better and gave the hotel a very personal touch.
I am so impressed!!!! Have stayed in hotels every second week for over 20 years and this one is definitely my favourite so far!!! Attention to detail exactly where you want it, comfy bed, plenty of room, bar fridge, room service to die for… the best cream brûlée I have ever had! Velvet luxury. Beautifully appointed and great value
Rooms could go with a bit of a tidy up. Some work was already under way so it should be great next time I go. Restaurant needs better vegetarian options

We held a workshop at The Elms for a group of 16 teachers. The meeting space was great and the food was amazing. It was such great value for money. Attendees were so impressed with their lunch. Thank you so much The Elms team.
Booked a twin room. Very good size, two extremely comfortable Queen beds. The best part was the air conditioning, an individual system that kept our room wonderfully cool during very hot days. The bathroom was will appointed with shower over bath, that is a bit dated these days but it was clean and in great condition. The room has a smart tv that connects to your own Netflix account but also has a wide range of sky channels. The only problem we had was the tv stopped connecting to the internet. Both the maintenance guy and the general manager tried to get it going again to no avail. It wasn't a major problem, just my son wanted to watch a few things on Netflix. The manager kindly gave us two drink vouchers for this minor inconvenience. The in room wifi was still working fine. In all, a great stay, lovely room and friendly staff. Will be back
