Yum! Was passing through Putaruru and needed to fuel the stomach. I was looking for something low carb/keto, and The Cook definitely delivered! I ordered the The Ultimate Bunless Burger, and my bf ordered the Lord of the meats pizza. Friendly service and and great food! Thanks!
Can't t fault the food, was all delicious, steak was cooked to perfection. Staff were attentive. It was a relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend the food hands down.
We didn’t take any photos because we loved the food so much we wolfed it all down quickly. We ordered the lamb shank and bunless veggie burger, the cheese burger and fish of the day. All are very nice and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommended
We've been here a few times for the trivia quizzes but most recently for dinner with friends from overseas, we were all impressed by the warm welcome from the staff and the excellent service. The meals were a generous size and all delicious, I had the pork belly which was done perfectly. A good selection of wines and spirits in a cozy "corner pub" atmosphere.
