   Absolutely blown away by the food here. The garlic naan was the best naan I've ever had, and my mushroom matar dish was amazing. I ordered for takeaway/pick-up, so can't really comment on the eat-in atmosphere. But the service staff were lovely and friendly when I arrived to pick up the food. If I ever come back to Rotorua, I'll be eating here again.

   I had a lamb biryani here for dinner. I must say it was absolutely superb. The owner Jassi is a superb host and this adds to the dinning experience. I will come here again next time I come to Rotorua. They also made a special arrangements for our group of 12 people. I must say it was one of the best Indian food I must have eaten in my 6 years here at NZ. Clean bathrooms.

   I just ordered from royal Indian restaurant and was really impressed with their excellent delivery service and delicious food. The order arrived quickly,perfectly packed,and still hot.The highlight was the free complimentary drink,which were thoughtful and generous that made the meal even better. Every item was full of authentic flavor and clearly made with care.Overall, a fantastic experience - great food fast delivery and amazing customer service. Highly recommend Royal Indian Restaurant!

The tables were well set, and the space felt both cosy and cheerful, perfect for families, groups, or casual dining. The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavour, freshly made, and generously portioned. The tandoori dishes, curries, and vegetarian options all stood out for their authentic taste and quality. Every dish was rich in spices without being overwhelming, and the complementary rice with mains was a nice touch.    First time in the town, went for a dinner deal! received terrible customer service- the girl over the counter couldn’t understand! The curry was extra extra extra hot, decided to through in the bed - couldn’t swells it! It was bloody hot and it’s coming from an Indian! I do not recommend it

   food was great, however. I ordered a medium curry, watched the man write down mild, was going to correct him but I let it go, because I was ordering two other curries that were mild and thought he misheard which is fine. BUT when I got my curry they'd written medium on the container and no way was that medium, there was zero spice in there at all. just give people what they ask for and if they suffer then that's on them, but I want my spice thank you.

   Ordered food from here off uber eats. The restraunt were not using uber drivers so one of the staff were doing deliveries. I waited for my order for it to be delievered to my neighbour. The driver did not ask for any details regarding the order instructions. The food was delievered to a completely different address to the one provided. I contacted the restraunt regarding my order asking if he could call the driver to see how far away he was. When i explained the situation, the person talking back to me was trying to make out like i was lying until i said i will giving a poor review and sharing the experience. I will not be doing any food deliveries from here again and think i will travel to Te Puke the next time i feel like curry.
