The View was pure bliss, the peaceful bush with the outdoor bathtub made it the perfect escape. Everything was beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped. Although we only stayed for one night we left feeling relaxed, recharged, and already planning our return
Louise was our main host and she was incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind. Along with Tim, the owner, they went over and above to make our stay so memorable. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and its surroundings were serene. The Watercliff grounds are lush, well kept, and unlike anything we've seen. Thank you so much, Louise and Tim. The team at Watercliff was amazing! Such a warm welcome. When we got to our room, they even left us a little note, congratulating us on our anniversary. On our walk, we met the owner, such a nice man. He told us the story of their lovely piece of heaven, which added to the experience. I loved the cold plunge in the river and the sound of the Rurus at night. Will go back in a hurry!
Such a beautiful spot for a few nights away in a stunning setting by the river! The cabins are so well designed with a great attention to detail and very cosy. So nice to wake up to the native forest, birdlife and river right outside!
Hands down one of the most beautiful cabins I've had the privilege to stay in. Highly recommend it to those who are wanting to switch off and escape from reality, even if it's for a short while. The cabin was beautiful and warm, the outdoor tub was a bonus, but the view and being surrounded by nature topped it off for me. Thank you Josh and Delia for creating such a peaceful, tranquil and soulful space. Fantastic service (and thank you to Haley for taking me back to my car) and look forward to coming back soon.
Highly recommend staying here to escape the hustle bustle of busy life. I stayed here solo for some time to rest and recharge and it did not disappoint! All the joys of being in nature but with the luxury of well designed cosy cabins. Waking up to those gorgeous views, coffee on the deck listening to bird song and the sound of the river. Its impossible not to feel relaxed. Roaming around the extensive property led to finding hidden tracks and different views around every corner. Delia and Josh have thought about every detail for these cabins from the solar heating and rain water tanks to the indoor luxuries of electric blinds and beautiful aesthetics. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! I hope to be back soon!
An absolutely beautiful cabin, set amongst stunning bush. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. We arrived and greeted by Josh and Delila and were taken to our cabin, a short drive through the beautiful bush, past the glow worms. To get back to our car was a short and lovely walk through the property. Everything about the cabin was gorgeous, they had thought of everything including a picnic set and some games. The outdoor bath was a highlight. Thank you so much for our epic stay! We will be back.
What an amazing place! We were so friendly received by our hosts Josh and Delia en we were amazed at the views we had just from the reception (even while it was raining). The cabins are beautifully located as well, with gorgeous views of the cliffs and forest. We really felt the outside world didnβt exist. The cabins itself were beautifully decorated and cozy. The electric curtains opening in the morning, waking up in the bed, with the amazing view is just magical, just as the stargazing in the hot bath outside. Josh and Delia are committed to make your stay super comfortable and were so nice. We would definitely come again and would recommend everyone to stay here. You wonβt regret it!
