I called Computer Help NZ in the morning to look at my son’s laptop, and they said I could bring it in for an assessment that day. It was seen to and a fix suggested that same day, and was able to pick it up that day if I wanted to. Amazing service, thank you.
If you expect a complete repair of your Macbook, you should contact an authorised service provider. This time, I had to have my Macbook's LCD repaired. I paid $125 for a check-up and was told that the repair would cost about $1000. I accepted the offer after being told that it would be repaired completely using Apple genuine parts. However, when I received the repaired product, I realised that the "True Tone" functionality had been lost. I bought it to an authorised service provider and they told me that the "TrueTone" was not working because the replaced screen was not genuine. I checked with this shop again and was told that the parts were authorised, but that there were features that would not work if repaired by a non-Apple service provider. I was offered a discount, but decided to stop the repair and ask for a refund as I felt it was not reasonable to pay much for an incomplete repair. End of the day, I paid the non-refundable first check-up fee and have got a broken laptop. I am sorry that this was a waste of time and money for me and also for this shop. If anyone is looking for a place to repair their MacBook and needs full functionality restored, it would be better to go to an authorised provider guided by Apple customer service. (Revised) I received a generous offer and I accepted it. I appreciate their integrity.
Extremely impressed with the service from Computer Help! Staff were super friendly & accomodating. I was updated on the progress of my repair throughout & my PC was back to perfect within a couple of days. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive it back completely detailed! Would recommend to all.
Staff are super friendly and have awesome communication with the customer. My laptop was fixed in an incredibly quick amount of time considering the damage, and it looks and feels brand new again! Wayne is very lovely and was very helpful with helping me make decisions around what the best options were for me as a uni student working with a budget. I’d recommend this place to all of my friends/fellow students!
Thoroughly recommend this company for their fast service and no muck around costs. Their honesty was amazing and they did not try to hide anything or force you into anything that was not required. Their phone manners were excellent as were the staff when dealing with them at their place of work.
I recently took my laptop to Computer Help for a general clean up and to get a couple of issues resolved. I was so impressed with their service, right from the first enquiry through to when I collected it a couple of days later. They responded to my initial email enquiry within about an hour, talked through the details of what they were going to do in language I could understand, and came up with great solutions. The communication throughout was exceptional and they were very transparent regarding the cost (which I feel was very reasonable). It's not often you come across a business that gets everything right, but for me, these guys did and I'm happy to recommend them without hesitation.
A 1st class computer service centre. Prompt, courteous service and affordably priced (significantly less expensive than other quotes for the same work - a 32GB RAM upgrade on a Mac Mini). An excellent result. This is a business well worth recommending to others.
