   Bought cabinetry that was advertised, priced, & sold as solid rimu. When we started working on it, it is mdf with a rimu veneer, a good veneer, but still cheap mdf cabinets. Won't refund, or do a partial credit. Make sure you're certain of what is in front of you, else you'll be stuck with expensive mdf. Recommend looking elsewhere for what you're after.

   Ian was very helpful. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm smile and a helpful attitude. He helped me choose the right wood and screws for my needs. He even gave me some tips on how to properly care for the wood and make it last longer. He was able to answer all of my questions and provide me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision. They didn't just sell me the wood and send me on my way, but took the time to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase. He also helped me load the wood onto my vehicle and made sure it was secured properly. They went above and beyond to make sure that I had a positive experience and I really appreciate their excellent customer service. Overall, I highly recommend this timber store to anyone looking for quality wood and exceptional customer service.

   I requested some ceiling tiles and was rushing into Christchurch from Timaru on my way to a seminar and so had little time on Saturday morning. The lady (Anita I think?) had them all ready and I was able to roar in and be out really quickly. The place was immaculate and all the staff seemed highly engaged. Superb culture.
