   Service from the shop staff member was excellent, she was extremely helpful when we encountered a problem with a missing hinge. Help from the manager at the Warehouse was nonexistent. Though the free delivery was fantastic as the fridge was delivered the day after we bought it. The customer service from the North Island was also excellent. The missing hinge was delivered pronto. I certainly would buy from the Trade Depot again.

   Ordered online a bigger fridge , seems great for what we needed but when it was delivered I did say to leave by garage door if no one home , my husband was home when it said it was on its way but the driver never knocked on the door and it said delivered we couldn’t see the fridge anywhere . Untill next day out the back of the property in the woodshed ?

   Dirty marketing tactics Over the last couple of months, I was preparing to purchase a heat pump water heater — a significant and expensive investment. On 28 November, I received a Black Friday deals email from Trade Depot. The exact model I was planning to buy was discounted (only about 4%, but still something). The downside was that it was on back order, with a promised delivery date of 13 December (2 weeks). Not ideal, but acceptable. I placed the order, paid in full, and waited. To be fair, the heater arrived on time — even a day earlier than promised. About a week later, I received another email from Trade Depot. To my surprise, the same heat pump water heater was now almost $1000 cheaper, not on back order, and available for next-day delivery — with no prepayment required. As a customer who paid full price upfront and waited weeks, this felt like a slap in the face. There was no price protection, no goodwill gesture, nothing. An extremely disappointing experience that completely ruined the excitement of a major purchase — and my Christmas mood along with it.

   Love the cupboards, good product and fairly easy to put together...just have to google instructions. Only downside was delay in 2 of the units and had to ring and ask where they were as no email to advise of this a d delivery person didnt have an answer. Great product and would recommend them.

   I recently purchased a type 2 charging cable for my Hybrid. i spent a lot of time working out why it would work in public charging stations thinking whether or not it was my car or the charger or the process to charge. i finally discovered it was the charger and returned it for a credit as it wasn’t fit for purpose. Trade Depot wanted to charge a restock fee of 20% of purchase price. a bit unfair given it didn’t work in my car and packaging was fine. I have lodged a claim with Small Claims tribunal to interpret CGA legislation and hopefully will get some recompense. A good business wouldn’t put its customers through this

   Absolutely sick of waiting for Trade Depo to make good on their promises. Paid for goods mid June and promised they would be here end of the month. No contact from them and no one answers there phone. Clearly the owner is to tight to provide enough staff. Finally someone just answered the phone who is kind and considerate so at least they are employing the right people. Told the good would be here end of August so I have cancelled my order and asked for a refund,

   It is now the end of June. We ordered items in March and was told everything we ordered would be in by the end of April. We finally went to pick everything thing up in May. When we got there there was still 1 item missing. We were told we could swap for something similar but it was part of a matching set. So we were told it would be in in a few weeks. We stopped in about 3 weeks later to be told they only had had a broken one and there wasn't any in New Zealand and they couldn't say when they will be in. In a bid to get the reno finished we said we would take the next size up. This was on a Saturday and was told they would have it delivered in 4 working days so I said as long as it was here before the weekend in. I was guaranteed it would be here by Friday. When it hadn't turned up by the afternoon I rung and was told they hadn't arranged delivery but they would deliver it over the weekend and I would get a text on Friday or Saturday night confirming. I rung on Sunday to find out what was happening since I didn't receive a email. I was told they would put it on a courier on Monday as it is the quickest way to get it to me. We'll it's now Monday night and I haven't seen or heard anything. I now don't believe anything they say and once I do finally get my purchase I don't think I will go back. At least it I pay a bit more I normally get the products in a timely manner. And for good measure they are still selling the unit, I pity anyone that buys the item

   Bought vogue washing machine 2 days ago $1000, firstly delays in shipment and then machine part failure in second use and it flooded my whole garage and damaged my electrical equipments. Called team they disconnect, went to showroom they said its an accident we are not liable and now trying to chat with them. They discontinued chat when i asked questions. Never ever buy anything from this store. There products are cheap but not reliable. Customer service is very very very very poor. Next step is consumer court for me now.

   We bought two shower set and a bathtub here. The quality is good for this price. The shower door glass is 8mm thick which is quite stable rather than some wobbling glass door. The warehouse staff made twice mistakes. They delivered wrong items and also missed some items. They need to double check. Trade depot staff has such a great patience. Owen helped us find a suitable shower tray. And Sachin was smart and responsible as well. He tried his best to look for suitable corner waste three sided tray for us, but unfortunately there isn't. Then he gave us an idea to buy a two sided corner waste tshower tray and to weld the third side. A brilliant solution for our awkward situation. Great customer service! Great products.
