What a fantastic place to stay. Quiet, tranquil, spacious. Most well stocked air bnb I have ever stayed in. Full kitchen set up with pots & pans, all the plates, glasses, cutlery. Sharp knives, bowls, everything. The most beautiful bathroom Iβve ever seen. Well worth the stay. Thanks Frances & Julian.
What a lovely place to stay. Gorgeous old homestead, which had a lovely homely feel. Frances and Julian were tremendous hosts, extremely accomodating to our groups very specific needs and they made us feel very welcome, and the freshly made bread was outstanding.
We found poripori homestead by chance and are so happy we did. It was spacious, super clean and cozy. The owners are great hosts. Welcoming, easy going and very professional. Highly recommend for families or those just wanting to get away for a few days.
I booked the cottage through booking.com. The owners are brilliant, easy going, and an absolute joy to deal with. It is a very peaceful, relaxing, secluded spot to stay and will be staying there again in the future.
We loved our stay at Poripori Homestead so much that we extended our stay for another two extra nights. Although the location is not in the centre of a tourism area, itβs like a hidden gem close to everything. 9 min to grocery stores and shopping mall, an hour to Rotorua hot spring, 20 min to Tauranga beaches, and 30 min to Hobbiton. Marshall animal park and Mclaren falls are 5 min away. The property is large enough to walk around. Very clean, peaceful and surrounded by all kinds of flowers, fruit trees, and birds. Our eight year old loved exploring around and pat their friendly dog, cat, and sheep. The rooms are spacious, private, and very clean with adequate facilities. Each of the accommodations has its own fenced yard. Beds are comfortable. Beddings are fresh and spotless. The property is very quiet with birds chirping in the morning. We had great sleeps all the time. Julian and Frances are awesome hosts. They are pleasant, accommodating, and respectful. We definitely will come back and also will recommend this place to friends and families.
Julian and Frances are the sweetest couple. Poripori Homestead feels like a safe sanctuary where your creativity can flow. I can't wait to go back. I think I might need to adopt them :)
