I gave 4 stars because of the handy location for locals. The pumps i found weirdly angled for left side fuel filling. I almost have to drive past pumps, uturn and come in from oppostie direction, but i have a clumsy, hard steering camper!. Location is the key for me.
A good place to visit while en route and pick up a coffee and a snack
Waihi or Whagamata staff some a very different, its a good to see. Young, but mostly used to older genuine welcomes, where you are known and politely feel welcome. Haven't used Whangamata BP. Give that a chance. Sorry, I'm open to a smile.

Busy stop off for traveller's. Public toilets, food coffee available. Big car park next door with a four square, kebab, chicken, cafe, sushi amongst others and more nice clean public toilets. Great place to take a break, park up and check out the local shops.
Bad Review- Disgusting germ invested toilet I came in 40min ago and the toilets were beyond gross. There was toilet paper everywhere, urine on the ground seat and in the basin. Blood was on toilet paper and left on top of the bin. I told the girl on today and she said she will clean it. But she was in there for about 30 seconds, No one should go anywhere near the degusting toilet I Ve been here for ages and it isn't busy, there's heaps of staff on and she thinks 30seconds was enough to clean that yuk toilet. That toilet will make someone sick. Who ever owns this BP needs to provide a decent bathroom for customers. I should have taken a photo. Be warned, you will catch something using this bathroom
Great night crew are always helpful not only that but every Thursday night one person always plays it forward, Putting money on the next randoms bill!
One BP is much the same as the next one..usually quite busy, but with good food choices, good service and clean forecourts and washrooms
