   Subject: Disappointing Customer We travelled 40 minutes specifically to visit this shop, intending to purchase a condiment set. While we were browsing, a sales assistant approached and asked if she could help. We welcomed the assistance and explained that we had previously had a bad experience with one of the items on display — though we made it clear it hadn't been purchased from your store and the matter had already been resolved. We were looking to buy a similar set from a different brand. Unfortunately, the assistant immediately became defensive and quite sharp in her tone. Despite our attempts to clarify that we were not complaining about your store or products, her attitude remained unfriendly. Feeling uncomfortable, we thanked her and walked away. As we were leaving, we noticed both the assistant and the cashier speaking about us in a way that was clearly not discreet. This left us feeling very uncomfortable and disappointed. We had made a special effort to visit your store with the intent to buy, but after that experience, we no longer feel inclined to return

   The first time I went into this store yesterday to buy a carbon steel wok because Stevens have multi-buy special. I was acknowledged by an older gentleman (perhaps the Store Manager?) who shared with me the product knowledge along with a couple of jokes haha. He suggested that I purchased another cheap/small item so I could get the 50% off discount for both items; I thought that was a great idea since I did not need two woks! This particular wok has a five-year warranty after all. The staff also answered my questions about other smaller products and kitchen accessories, and I am extremely glad that in the end he showed me a ‘cool looking’ small knife which I thought I MAY NEED but when I got home this knife proves to be my FAVOURITE knife that has been missing in my life all these years LOL. Anyway I would like to say thank you for the friendly and great customer service and taking the time to answer my questions. I only spent $39.99 but the staff made me feel like a million-dollar customer.

   Stevens tauriko had horrible customer service they workers didn’t even greet me when i came into the store and were just rude to me the whole time i asked if they would be able to order me in something from bayfair and they replied with “ why don’t you go over there and get it yourself” i was so shocked with this response and it makes me not want to shop at Steven again

   We had excellent service from a lovely lady today. She had great product knowledge, and was genuinely friendly and very knowledgeable about the products we bought and enquired about. The best customer service I’ve had in a long time.
