   Best Fish and Chips in Christchurch. I haven’t experienced anything close to Fish and Chips like the UK, but this goes very close. Friendly service and great value.

   Great fish and mussels with very good batter that doesn’t come out too greasy. Very kind service and classic atmosphere for a rustic fish and chips shop. Has some seats/tables for indoor eating if desired.

   Quality is what brought this meal down, chips were inconsistent, this is usually my favourite type of fish and chips although today there was far too much oil and the fish was over cooked, or old??? Dry, oily and flavourless. Not enough salt and hard to eat, very disappointed as we were excited for our first meal in Christchurch.

   OMG the worst fish and chip shop we have ever experienced. We ordered 2 blue cod crumbled and 1 chips and one normal fish. It came to $25.00 . We drove home 5 minutes away. We opened them up and couldn't believe the condition of the meal. The fish was in many pieces and broken up. The chips were cold and all different colors no salt. Rang the owner to complain, he agreed when I asked why are they so bad, I should have listened to the reviews. He agreed. You have been warned.

   Had such a pleasant experience interacting with the lovely man, he was very attentive and had such a warm, kind energy. Was very informative about the fish I was buying! New local spot for fresh fish. It was delish.

   Fish is way overdone. It's burnt and can't eat it! It costed near on $8 and I asked for it to be battered not crumbed and they didn't listen. Poor service and food.
