I strongly do not recommend it. An agent named Cish deducted NZ$400 from my rental deposit. The problem is that when we moved in, the room was full of old furniture and facilities. NZ$400 could have bought all the old furniture in the room.

I really liked Zach, he was lovely and easy to communicate. Jordan on the other hand, when we moved we had the house 100 times cleaner then when we moved in. When we moved in the yard was not maintained, my husband spent alot if money with runs to the green waste dump to tidy it up, Jordan and I discussed the two dents in the wall that my special needs son had made sitting back in his chair, I was more than happy to pay for it to be fixed, we also got a professional pet carpet cleaner to do the whole house at a price because I have a dog. Then I find out, with no communication from Jordan, that he had taken over $900 out of our bond, $380 to clean the carpets, $300 to fix the dent in the wall and some ridiculous price to replace a curtain that a bird pooped on, we hadnt even been in the property for a year!. I was texting him and emailing him weekly for an update on the repairs to the wall, he never once said he was redoing the carpets, he mentioned the bird poop on the curtain, where if he had asked I would of gone back to clean off, said there were fleas, my dog gets professionally groomed, I have sensitive skin so I no we had no fleas while we lived there. This has caused so much stress, as we needed the bond back to pay our new bond. I'm so disappointed at all this as I had never had any issues with lodge in the past only great experiences. Now I'm going to tribunal. If I knew I was in the wrong I would of let this go and pay for anything that needed done. But he went upon himself and spent our money with no communication at all. Now I need to ask for time off work to dispute this. So upsetting.

Lodge rentals manage multiple properties of my families. I have been extremely happy with the hard work and communication of this rental company, especially Zack Cathcart. Heβs hard working and very responsive! Highly recommend anyone that would like to use a property manager to look after their property portfolio.

Briana Kneebone is one of the property managers. Conveniently her Father is a general manager. Itβs fair to say she is completely unprofessional in her dealings with tenants, comes across as threatening, authoritative, and acts like a school Deputy Principle. I would strongly recommend any property owner, or tenants to avoid. She will never ever manage any of my properties and neither will Lodge so long as she is a manager.

Lodge took over management of my previous tenancy, to begin with they were on the backfoot as the property was in a shambles. The owners took 7 months to repair the heatpump (during winter!) and I had leaks throughout for weeks. The agent I dealt with was polite to give her the credit but upon ending my tenancy, it's been a nightmare. Communication with this company is sorely lacking, their organisation far from great. Getting my bond back has been a struggle, even with additional cleaning as they wanted to charge me to hire cleaners to wipe down some cupboards, windowsills and to dust. They did allow me to do it all myself but I was just shocked they wanted to charge for dusting of all things! I then am informed that I owe 2 days rent at $110 per day, I have never missed a rent payment and have always paid in full. My due day was a Thursday and I was paid up until the 17th, my tenancy ended on the 18th. So where did the extra day come from? I'm hoping for a smooth resolution but overall this process has been wildly stressful, frustrating and disappointing. I have had such good experiences with Lodge in the past, no idea what's happened to the service since. :(

Wouldn't recommend. Takes months for items to get fixed didn't have address confirmed (new place) not enough bins or letter box key for six months Broke contract by coming into room with no warning and when brought it up said u wanted it fixed didn't you . Paid more rent for a smaller room and could give me no reason why Always had horrible service and your made to feel like a pain if need anything
