I had a traditional Maori armband tattood freehand by Inkee. Super happy with it. I newly discover more details in it every time I look at it: this really is seriously skilled work with incredible detail. I feel very lucky I was helped by this great artist.
I got a my tattoo in Zealand Tattoo studio in Christchurch and I couldn’t be happier with the result!! The stuff was amazing, Inkee consulted every detail with me and we talk about what is important and what I want to move or edit. I really couldn’t choose better place for my LoTR tattoo than here. I reccommend everyone, who want to get tattoo of highest quality to visit Zealand Tattoo in Christchurch.
Inkee is an amazing tattooist. He totally got the brief and came up with an amazing design to fix my old tatt I got years ago. So happy with the result. The only problem is, he’s done such a great job I’m already coming up with ideas to add too it.
I went to Zealand Tattoo with a design in mind. Zane liked it but explained that it would need to be slightly redesigned, as over time the fine lines would blend into each other. So I put my full trust in Zane, and he made some small changes which I thought made the image much better! The studio is very clean and tidy. Zane is a very talented artist, who i can’t recommend highly enough. I will definitely see him for my next tattoo.
Really great experience. I've been to this studio twice now. Once for a large piece and most recently for their charity flash day. Both times, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish.
I got my first tattoo yesterday there. Nicole absolutely nailed the design of my tattoo idea and I couldn't imagine a better first tattoo. Also the atomosphere was very chill and I felt very welcomed there by the staff. Will definitely come back for my next tattoo.
What an absolute shame. Great artists, great staff, juvenile attitude and rudeness from the owner. The voucher that was purchased for me as a gift is simply a tactic to get you in the door, which is fair enough, it's a business. But it's clear when talking to Zane he has no respect for the customer. Because of him having little to no sales skills and no love for the art itself, he failed in upselling a bigger piece as his logic was absolute nonsense. When he couldn't upsell me he threw his toys out of the cot like a child and then began making snarky remarks regarding the tattoo size which was available for the price the voucher was purchased for ($290 spent = $500 value) If you go here and he begins a long tangent to try and overload you with info that doesn't add up, just eventually zone out like I did and it will be over soon. This review would be 5 stars if it was solely about the staff and artists there. Charlotte the receptionist was incredibly friendly and approachable, super nice lady. Inky the artist who did my piece is incredibly talented and patient with a really chill attitude, great dude. Even the French artist there who I didn't catch her name was very welcoming and nice to chat too.
Did my piece at the Christchurch branch, with artist Inkee, and I was absolutely satisfied with it! Staff there were friendly and the atmosphere was chill. Most impressively, my correspondence with them started months back (as I’m not a local and i was flying in only in June), but every step of the way they were helpful, even over emails, from concept and idea to draft sketches to payment and booking. Trusted and professional. Highly recommended! Thank you!
Have been coming back for the past couple of months getting new pieces added to my sleeve and I have to say Ash does an amazing jobs, easy to get on with, holds conversation and makes you feel welcome. Can not recommend ash enough. You have an amazing artist in her and should be very proud of her work and work ethic
The staff were all very friendly. Me, my husband and daughter wanted tattoos & luckily we were able to get in. I'd highly recommend the Christchurch location.
