Call in to the Salvation Army shop today and the prices are sky high thought it was supposed to be for the needy not the greedy staff I felt were rude. You get every thing donated and you put such a mark up on it wonβt be back rather go to St Johnβs spca even nurse Maude shops and Red Cross shop prices are decent

The prices here are ridiculous...your not an antique store in merivale! Put your google lens down and think logically about nz prices, not what uncle google tells you

Unfortunately this place is overpriced. For a charity shop that gets its donations for free and intended purpose is to help struggling people have access to clothes and goods. Well itβs far from that. I am on a benefit myself and cannot afford brand new clothes. Unfortunately I cannot afford the clothes in this shop either. Itβs very disheartening not being able to afford clothes in a place that is meant for people who are struggling financially. I think a good idea would be to start a rack with cheaper clothes, most clothes here start from $15 per item.

What disgusting prices, $100 for Coat, $35 for a jersey, when I tried to bargain over a fifteen dollar dress, the harpie behind the counter yelled at me 'we're a charity'. The prices are anything but charitable, I have found several Salvation Army shops to be reasonable, but many of them overcharge, like this one. to me, this is a rip-off shop. and then there's the attitude of the staff, superior, condescending, almost as though they're too good for their customers. I will not be returning to this outpost of greed.

Great shop, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Great selection of clothes and the displays are changed often - clearly a lot of thought is going into the shop. I personally haven't noticed the prices being any higher than other op shops in the city, but have often seen lots of stuff dumped outside the drop off area which is unfortunate! Perhaps to avoid the mess a donation bin could be put outside? Otherwise, a great store with a good selection.

I am boycotting this store. Twice I have witnessed racism from a worker here. A customer was humiliated and accused, without proof, of changing price tags. She was not fluent in English and she was ridiculed for this publicly. Another time another customer was made a spectacle of when a big deal was pointedly made about checking security cameras in his presence. He was a beneficiary buying furniture with help from WINZ. These are two of the most damaging instances I've witnessed amongst many that I could list. This shop perpetuates harm and puts our community at risk.

Over priced for most stuff. Saw items from the $2 shop priced at $6. A set of wine 4 wine glasses for $30. It would seems like a lot of items are more expensive than new or only a $1 cheaper than new. As for the clothing there some hood items but same thing there's definitely better priced charity shops in the area. It was tidy and set up well though
