The store is okay, has a good range of items but I am just posting a review on what happened in store today. Today my daughter, 2 nieces and I arrived to have a look through the store and as we were looking around we had noticed a young lady being followed in store by a man. When she walked around looking through different items this man kept following her, as he did that I had made eye contact with this young lady and she seemed to be aware of what was happening and looked very uncomfortable. I kept watching just incase as I wasn't to sure what his intentions were. As we kept looking around my nieces decided to both try on some items in the changing room and they had called me over to have a look at what they tried on and he started looking in through the doors even when they weren't open wide so no one could see in. Both the girls seen him and decided to close the doors completely and get changed as they were very uncomfortable, as this was happening he had gone out of his way to come over ( but not too close) and started looking down where the gap of the doors were of the changing rooms as if he was hoping to see something. He didn't physically bend down, was just really looking and it was quite obvious. After the girls finished getting changed he had carried on following the young lady and by then I had seen enough I approached a team member telling them everything stated above and she said she will talk to her manager. The manager came over to talk to me and I told her what I had seen and she said but he comes into the store weekly and is mentally challenged. I said I could see that but it doesn't make it right on what he was doing and she had turned around and said well you could go and tell him. I proceeded to say but he is making the girls very uncomfortable and by then he had seen we were talking to the manager and left. Long story short I feel she was just making excuses and trying to validate his actions. I felt she didnt take my concerns seriously and I understand he may be mentally challenged but either way his actions aren't acceptable. I thought I would bring light to this for others to be aware when visiting the store as it seems the manager couldn't care less. I feel this should be taken seriously because either way it wasn't very nice seeing another young lady uncomfortable and both my nieces uncomfortable even if he is known to come in regularly. I enjoyed coming to this store but after today we do not feel comfortable or supported enough after raising concerns to the manager to want to visit again. Each to their own, take it as you want but it wasn't nice seeing and feeling the way we did today.

I visited the Red Cross store on Sunday and was attended by a wonderful and lovely lady named Tanya. She was very helpful and patient while answering all my questions and even helped me find a few things that matched my requirements. There was one shirt I really liked, but my size wasn’t available. When I asked Tanya, she was kind enough to check at the back for me, though unfortunately it wasn’t in stock. Tanya was really helpful throughout my visit. Best of luck, Tanya — see you next time! Thank you for your time today.

The female manager is extremely rude and obnoxious and the prices are over the top, I now support any charity shop other than this one, I'd recommend not going to this shop until she is removed

Very weird customer service experience today. I went to pay and the person behind the till did not acknowledge me, did not say anything. Me: "hi, how are you doing?" With a big smile. The person behind the till "That's $42" Customer service is usually ok. I've never seen this person before but if you don't even want to be polite, maybe you should consider doing something else. Also the clothing is supposed to be sorted by size but I recommend checking all the racks as it's always a bit mixed up.

RedCross on Manchester Road is where I always go shopping. Recently, though, I've given up going there on the weekends because a woman who typically works there engages in racial profiling. She serves other people in a distinct manner than how she serves POC. She has a dialect, indicating that she is not a Kiwi. I always believed that people who volunteer are good people because they work in places like this on a volunteer basis. I have no doubt not been the only one to experience this.
