   I just arrived in Christchurch for an event and was looking for a kebab place for a chicken on rice. Found Zak’s Kebab House and was really glad I did. The staff were kind and helpful with my wheat intolerance. Had the Mandis box — fresh, wholesome, and full of flavour. Warm, clean place with nice decor and friendly service. Definitely recommend.

   Probably the best kebab and shawarma I've ever had. The meats are so well seasoned and there's a generous portion. The bread of the shawarma was so soft as well. First came here two years ago and this was out first stop on our current trip as we know we would get a delicious and filling meal. The owner is very friendly and welcoming too. Halal :)

   I stayed 4 nights at the Drifter Hôtel so i was 50m away from this place! I went every single day and I have no regrets! The good is excellent, the portion are generous and the people working there are lovely! Trust me after eating first you will be full, and then you will already be thinking about going back the day after. I tried 5 different meal and the were all delicous! Onions rings and fries are also good. I gotta give the baklava a special mention because they are absolutely incredible! Here are some pictures of the food! The first one is the rice and it was my favourite! Thank you for everything! Lovely people from Jordan!! Wish you all the best

   popped in for a late dinner and was greeted with the most flavourful souvlaki!!! huge generous portions, complimentary tea was offered, and amazing service. definitely foreigner friendly and a must try in town!

   If you're looking for the best "souvlaki" and meat on chips shop in Christchurch, look no further than this gem run by an authentic and friendly duo. Unlike many other places, they don't use processed meats, which really shows in the flavor of their dishes. It's becoming increasingly rare to find places like this that put so much care and attention into their takeaway meals, but these guys do just that. They're clearly passionate about the food they're serving and the ingredients they're using, and it really shows in the end result. In particular, I have to mention the lamb - it's absolutely amazing. Located just a 5 minute walk from the riverside, this is a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. You won't regret it!

   Looking for the best kebab in Christchurch? Look no further than Zak's Kebab House! My husband and I recently visited this highly recommended spot at the start of the month and we were blown away. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a complimentary cup of hot tea. And let me tell you, if the tea is any indication of what's to come, you're in for a treat. Not only did we enjoy delicious food, but we also had a chance to chat with the father and son team who run the place. Their passion and love for what they do are evident in every bite. Our favorites included the mouthwatering Lamb Shawarma and their homemade Baklava for dessert. We also couldn't resist trying their Jordan-style Souvlakis and homemade falafel. Every bite was bursting with flavor. If you're looking for an incredible meal, we highly recommend Zak's Kebab House. We'll definitely be coming back for more.
