Wanted an item that is listed as 'Low stock' online, which all too often means NO stock. So I wanted to call them to get confirmed if the item was indeed in stock. After waiting for 3 minutes for someone over there to even pick up the phone I hung up again. I'll make my purchase (worth hundreds of dollars) elsewhere.
I never like to give a 1 star reviews, but Rebel sport as a company was begging for one. I ordered 2 pairs of Nike TracSuite pants. Rebel sports had stock on their website, for multiple stores across the country. Turns out, they have such a bad ordering and stock update system that they have no pairs available in the whole of New Zealand. Without any confirmation or phone call to ask if I would like anything else, my money was refunded. Why do I find this a problem. Because of no customer communication, poor stock update and stock system design. Zero options given to me, and the whole system is poorly automated. Rebel Sport (IE Briscoes) you can do better.
Usually enjoy visiting rebel sports but sizes of clothing are limited for the more desirable items, shoes included. I managed to find a couple of items I liked but would've spent more if they had the stock. Could see online that a shoe I was after was in low numbers but in stock at this particular branch, though when approaching staff they said it would take ages for them to find, like they couldn't be bothered. They told me that Riccarton definitely had 1 pair, so I opted to go there, and it sold out on the way. Not overly helpful.
I was very disappointed in how a staff member in your Hornby store treated my daughter. It costs nothing to be polite and maybe the younger staff should be reminded of that and the importance of customers. Without customers the staff wouldn't have jobs. I've always had excellent service at the store in the city.
Very easy shopping there , had what I wanted , painless shopping
I had a little experience last week bought some shoes on line for delivery, days went by so I call the 0800 number the courier guy delivered them into some letter box didn't take the photo of my house number or street number. I wasn't impressed but in the end they had to buy me another pair I'm still waiting for them . I'll be back for another review when they arrive the funny thing never have I had any delivery places in my mail box alway at my door. I found it to be odd.
Good selection of gear but staff really disinterested and would rather chat behind the counter than give me the advice that I needed. A good place to go if you know exactly what you want, but this shop lacks any kind of customer service outside the checkout area.
Poor service - I stood waiting at the front of the queue. There were staff at 3 of the counters: one was serving; the other two were each chatting with another staff member and ignoring the queue. Finally served by a man who spoke too fast. I told him 3 times I couldn’t hear what he was saying. He repeated the same sentence at the same volume and speed each time. Ever hear of rephrasing or speaking louder, clearer, slower???
Been in a couple of times recently. They have the items I'm after, which is good. But is it company policy for the staff to offer absolutely zero assistance?? Didn't see them helping anyone.. seems odd to me.
